Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. For starters, I would recommend heading over to https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/ and changing your billing details there to make sure future orders reflect the desired Billing name.
However to modify the order’s billing name, you will need to submit the desired name change through a private reply in this thread. We will gladly change it for you.

I would love to help you with this topic.I dont have too much wordpress experience and have no time to sit down and figure it all out.
We totally understand and appreciate that.
If setting things up or coding is not really your cup of tea, you could always hire one of our recommended customizers to do configure everything properly for you.
As an alternative, you could always hire local help and have them go through our awesome user primers. We do offer support getting through those.
Let me know how that goes.

We are sorry to hear about this message showing up on your site.
I would love to help you with this topic.I have a couple of follow-up questions:
- It looks like your license is currently assigned to 2c0.689.myftpupload.com. Is that done intentionally ? I am asking because your system information is for http://www.christ-church.net/.
If you are indeed experiencing this message on http://www.christ-church.net/, I would recommend connecting the license to that site.
You can read about that here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-your-license-keys/
- Are you using your license key on a site that is part of a multi-site installation ?
Hang in there!

We are sorry to hear that you are struggling to get certain events to properly display in the map view. I would love to help you with this topic.
To your point, the “fix venues data” button only shows up if there is a perceived issue with the data found in the venues. If the button does not appear, it means that the integrity of the date for your venues is problem-free. In other words, this is not the cause of your struggles.
Most of the time, this can happen when the Google Maps API is failing to retrieve your event location in the Map view.
Here are a couple of things to try out for those venues:
- Try searching that venue in Google Maps. Review your Venue data and make sure it matches precisely the format found in Google Maps.
- Try checking the “use latitude + longitude” checkbox and updating your Venue.
Let me know how that goes.

I would love to help you with this topic. You could apply the following snippet in the functions.php file of your theme (without the PHP tag at the top): https://gist.github.com/cliffordp/c4fb2ea8fb5ca44973ff06e6facc9742 and https://gist.github.com/niconerd/16770b84adb6156aaa77948bf208bacb
But first to be extra safe, before making any changes to your functions.php file, you should make a backup of that file.
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening Minda and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. To get started, I highly recommend reading the 3 following articles on translation:
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/how-to-override-plugin-language-files/
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/incomplete-translations/
What is going on is that the Community Events plugin strings in the different Chinese versions are not complete. Most of our translations have been provided to us by our awesome users.
As you can tell, the Community Events project has Chinese (Taïwan) at 52% and Chinese (China) at 35%. If I am not mistaken, there is also Chinese (Hong-Kong) out there, but it is at 0%,
If you are willing to submit translations, we will gladly reward you with free licences as a token of our appreciation.
Out of curiosity, which of the 3 versions of Chinese I just named is considered Simplified Chinese ?
Perhaps it is another one ? In any case, you could always “cheat” by taking an existing version of the language file and changing its name to zh_CN

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the issues you have encountered with the next and the previous links.
I would love to help you with this topic.By the sound of it, it looks like there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:- A conflict with another plugin
- A conflict with your WordPress theme
- A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
A second test would be to remove your caching and minify plugins effects temporarily as well as emptying the cache to see if that helps.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
- Make a backup of your database
- Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
If the above doesn’t help, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening Paul and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.I’m wondering if I can upload Gigpress content from one site to The Events Calendar on another site.
The short answer is yes. You can totally achieve that.
The way to do this is to export your Gigpress calendar in CSV format using Gigpress > Import/Export. Once that is done you can simply use the Events Calendar’s built-in Import CSV feature.
You can read about this here: https://theeventscalendar.com/gigpress-with-the-events-calendar-and-event-tickets/
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

I would love to help you with this topic.I am not sure exactly of what you are trying to accomplish. Would you mind expanding on that a bit ? Perhaps with an example ?
Are you trying to put a special query on a page ? Which type of page would that be ?
In any case, one way to get started is to create category names that match the organizer’s name.

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the user roles issues you have been experiencing.
I would love to help you with this topic. Here are the steps I recommend to identify (and solve the issue):
- Log in as an editor role. Once that is done, head over to an Event to try to update it. Fire up the Google developer tools and look at the console. I am pretty sure there will be a warning. Once that is done, please share your findings.
- Before logging in as an editor role, activate a maintenance page plugin. Temporarily reverting back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if that helps with event edition.
- Using your user role manager plugin, experiment with different permissions/capabilities until you find the missing ones for the editor role.
Let me know how that goes.

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the issues you have bumped into while using recurring events. Yikes!
I would love to help you with this topic.Based on your system information, it looks like your PHP max_execution_time = 0.
This might not be related, but you will want a value of at least 30, more commonly of 300 for that setting. Perhaps your web host can help you out with that ?Secondly, on some websites, you might have to at least re-save your permalinks when you are faced with a 404 page not found message. The other thing is to fully empty and refresh your caching plugin’s cache (if you have one).
Could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.
Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.Hang in there!

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.Has the ability to search for an event name in a date range vs. a single month that is selected?
The short answer is that is feasible, but you will most likely need to do a bit of customization on your end.
You can read about that here: https://theeventscalendar.com/customizations/
If coding is not really your cup of tea, you could always hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.
To get you started on the right track, here are 4 articles and 1 snippet to draw inspiration from:
