How to get notified when someone RSVP or books a ticket (without ecommerce)

Can someone please advise – if I am not selling tickets, how admin can get notified each time someone books or rsvp tickets?

You could apply the following snippet in the functions.php file of your theme (without the PHP tag at the top): https://gist.github.com/cliffordp/c4fb2ea8fb5ca44973ff06e6facc9742 and  https://gist.github.com/niconerd/16770b84adb6156aaa77948bf208bacb

But first to be extra safe, before making any changes to your functions.php file, you should make a backup of that file.
