MemberGood evening Chris,
As promised, I followed up with the Products team.
The short answer is that we will not be adding such an extension ourselves.The main reasoning behind that is that our Event Aggregator service is bound to evolve over time and we do not want to be fostering any potential competition.
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have unfortunately.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberGood evening John and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.On one of the events, a person has to check a box that indicates they are qualified to attend an Event.
What you suggested could work. But another idea would be to use the additional attendee information for that purpose.
In other words, you could have a Mandatory checkbox tied to the purchase process (along with the desired text.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

I would love to help you with this topic.The simplest solution is to change that under /wp-admin/options-general.php (in wp-admin).
Look for the Week Starts On dropdown.Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening Ivaylo and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.From the looks of it, this does not seem to come from our plugins. In fact, it does not look like the Events Calendar is on this specific site.
If I am mistaken, could you please share the link to our calendar on your website ?With that in mind, try adding the following CSS rule to your style.css file or in your Custom CSS metabox:
#ilc-tabs-2 #ilc-tabs-2block+a {display: none !important}Best regards,

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about your website crashing on you. Yikes!
I am mostly glad you managed to find a solution.
That also applies to you @jamiew81. It looks like you did the right thing and opened up a separate thread here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/events-calendar-pro-plugin-has-broken-wordpress/
Is there anything else I can help you with Michael ?
Best regards,

I would love to help you with this topic.That is a great question. Most caching plugin out there can be made to work with the Events Calendar.
The general rule of thumb is to try different settings while not being too aggressive on minification, HTML and Javascript settings.
However, with no special affiliation, I can tell you that several of our customers are really enjoying “out of the box” compatibility with WP Rocket.
Have a great day!

I would love to help you with this topic.The short answer is yes.
For the record, the choice to keep the filter bar closed on mobile is intentional.
This typically makes for a better user experience on mobile.If you want to force the open state on mobile, you can:
- Make a customization in your theme’s functions.php file regarding the behaviour of tribe_events_filters_show_filters on mobile.You can read about that here: https://theeventscalendar.com/customizations/If coding is not really your cup of tea, you could always hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.
- Use CSS to “fake it”. Make sure that CSS is specific to mobile using @media CSS rules that target screens 767px and below.A good starting point is https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/force-always-active-filter-bar/ if you want to hide the toggle.
Try adding the following CSS rule to your style.css file or in your Custom CSS metabox:
.tribe-events-filters-vertical .tribe-events-filters-content {
height: 300px !important;
clear: both !important;
display: block !important;
}You might have to edit the height to match your filter bar’s height and have several heights depending on the different screen sizes.
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening Dave,
Thank you for taking the time to write back. Let’s break down each question.
Do I need to remove the license keys from the CMS in my local and staging site first?
Yes you do.
Will that negatively affect my local and staging sites?
Not really. The only thing is that you will not be able to update the plugins “automatically” (from the wp-admin interface).
Do I need to remove the license from my subdirectories on production?
Technically each domain or sub-domain counts as 1 license. In other words, unless you have a multisite or business license (you currently only have a personal license). Your license key can only be truly active on 1 domain or sub-domain at a time.
This is where the following article becomes useful: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-your-license-keys/
And if I disconnect the Site Url that is currently there (which is my local site), will it automatically pick up my root url for my production site?
Only if you follow the exact sequence from the https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-your-license-keys/ article.
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening David,

That is a great question. The answer is that it does not depend only on us, so it is a bit hard to commit to a date for now.
One of our goals for 2018 is to enhance multi-language support for a variety of reason, but mostly because a lot of our customers want to run multi-lingual websites.
Historically, we have been relying mostly on WPML for that purpose: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/wpml-support/
Polylang is a fairly recent addition to our multi-language supported plugins.
They have asked for a couple of Pull Requests on our end (which we did) in order to enable compatibility with the Events Calendar free.
Full disclosure, we did not officially announce that compatibility yet, but we will soon.
Our tests have been conclusive with the Events Calendar free.With that in mind, our tests also indicate that further work is required for Polylang to be compatible with our other plugins.
I would absolutely recommend reaching out to the Polylang team to see where they stand on this.
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have unfortunately.
