    Good evening Angela,

Thank you for sharing your system information with us.

As I suspected, what is going on is that the Yoast SEO plugin is giving each recurring event its own canonical URL.

I believe you might be interested in the following snippet from my colleague Brook on a very similar request (actually, I would recommend reading the whole thread if you don’t mind): https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/canonical-urls-in-recurring-events/#dl_post-1090141

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Good evening Brenden,

    Thank you for your understanding.

The good news is that the fix is imminent (it should be released over the next couple of days or so).

    Stay tuned!

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good afternoon Jessica,

Thank you for the system information.

Based on it, my first recommendation would be to deactivate the Event Rocket plugin.
The plugin breaks on many levels and has not been updated to support versions 4.x + of our plugins.

There is a strong chance that just deactivating it will solve your stock issues.

If that is not the case, we can then pursue the template customization investigation. As suggested earlier, you might want to run a quick test to see if a default WordPress theme fixes your issue.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Hey guys,

    Thank you for your patience.

The good news is that the bug was found and that we came up with a patch for it.
It should ship as part of the upcoming Maintenance release. Stay tuned!

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

Good evening Jake and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your question.

Are all the ticket attendee info captured stored for editing by the user?

To the best of my knowledge and as you can see, in the following link, the attendee info is linked to the order: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/collecting-attendee-information/

As such, it behaves just like any normal WooCommerce order, which means that the info gathered will not be editable by the user.
    At least not built-in.

But that sounds like a great idea. You are welcome to add it to the list of features found here: https://tribe.uservoice.com/search?filter=ideas&query=attendee%20information

I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

Good evening Peter and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

I would love to help you with this topic.

Community Events wants to put it’s events in a separate area. I picked up the Community Events plugin assuming that we could have the events on the Calendar Pro page blended with the community events. Is it possible to set this up?

Actually, the Community Events plugin does not put events in a separate calendar. It all fits under the normal calendar that you are used to.

There are however a couple of things that are different, here are the main differences when you add the Community Event plugin:

    1. Users can submit events
    2. Users can view and edit only their own events
    3. You control if user submitted events are automatically published or not

In fact I believe the Community Events plugin will do exactly what you are looking for provided you set it up to your needs.

If you haven’t done so already, I would recommend reading this guide: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/new-user-primer-community-events/

Once everything is setup, the only thing that you’ll need to do is to change where your previous button links to. Instead of sending an email, it should link to the Community Events  add page: http://playformobile.monsiteoublog.com/events/community/add

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

We are sorry to hear about the event hyperlink not working.

What is going on is that typically, HTML is not allowed in excerpts (it gets stripped).

Try installing the following plugin: https://cloudup.com/cMMR9fFOZe3

Let me know how that goes.

Good evening Kirk and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.

Is there a way to view the spaces available by ticket type on the month view calendar?

This probably could be accomplished, but it’s not a built-in feature.

The good news is that we made sure our plugins are easily customizable. You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.

As an alternative, you can hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.

which plugins do we need to purchase?

You will need to purchase only the Event Tickets plus add-on to be able to sell paid tickets: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-event-tickets-plus/

You might also be interested in our Filter Bar plugin that allows to filter the monthly view by many types of variables (including cost – which is the closest thing to ticket type available “out of the box”): https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-filterbar/

Let me know if that helps.

Good evening Jessica and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the ticket count not working as expected!
I would love to help you with this topic.

As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

Secondly, by the looks of it, I believe you have some template customization going on. If I am right, these customizations might require some updating to work properly with ETP (as opposed to WooCommerce Tickets).

    Please check the following:

    1. If you have a folder named /tribe-events/ in your WordPress theme’s directory
    2. If there are some references to tickets in the functions.php file of your theme

Either way, the best test would be to temporarily revert to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-fifteen to see if the problem persists.

Good evening Matt and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.

We are sorry to hear about the unnecessary attendee list checkbox displaying.
I would love to help you with this topic.

You are right, when only Event Tickets is used, the option should not be there (unless it actually becomes a feature – in which case there should also be a feature to turn it off).

In fact, there was already a ticket for that very purpose opened in our system.
Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point. But stay tuned, you will be contacted as soon as this is fixed!

In the meantime, here’s how you could hide the unnecessary option altogether. Simply add the following CSS line to your WordPress theme’s code:

    .tribe-events-tickets-rsvp .tribe-tickets-attendees-list-optout {display:none !important}

Let me know how that goes.

Good evening Joe and welcome back!

Secondly, could you also send me some actual links to the problematic events where the price is not displaying how you would expect it too ?

The reason I am asking these questions is because normally, it should not make a difference where you edit the ticket price.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.
