    Good evening John and welcome back!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    I would love to help you with this topic.

    I’m wanting to create a calendar based on the birthday and death date of important spiritual teachers. It’s display could be accessed through yearly or monthly calendar views with a link to a more detailed post. Is this possible with your plugin?

    Currently, there is no built-in year view in our products. The closest built-in feature we have is the list view.

    That being said, you can vote for that feature here: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/3827250-year-view

    As you can see, there is also a partial solution provided there. Some of our customers have also decided to simply display 12 mini monthly calendars to that purpose.

    The monthly view is already there, so that should work like a charm.

    In any of these views, clicking on the event will bring you to the event’s detail where you can add all the details.
    Using our the Events Calendar Pro add-on, you might want to make each of these events a recurring yearly event so that this becomes a perpetual calendar.

    Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Good evening Jimmy and welcome back!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    We are sorry to hear about the tickets not being received by your customers.
    I would love to help you with this topic.

    As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

    Typically, this can happen for one of 2 reasons:

    1. If you are using WooCommerce, the ticket order status has to be set to “Complete”
    2. Somehow, the built-in WPmail functions are getting filtered (probably by spam filters). If that is the case, I would suggest using a plugin such as: https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-wp-smtp/ . That should fix the issue.

    Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Good evening and welcome back!

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    I would love to help you with this topic.

    Currently, your best bet would be to do a template customization.

    Just to set expectations, as you might know, the scope of our support is mostly to get our customers started on the right track and to help them in case of issues. We unfortunately do not provide complete support for customization.

    With that in mind, you might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.
    More specifically, you might be interested in the section about our email template.

    As an alternative, you could also hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good evening Matthew,

    If that helps, I am also noticing that you do not have the latest version of your theme (they are now at version 1.0.2).

    The support person from that theme is right, TS Custom Posts is interfering with our plugin on many levels: featured image, datepicker, recurrence rule.
    He has the right approach. You need to find a way to make sure TS Custom Posts stays away from our plugin’s post type.

    For the record, the actual custom post type to be ignored is ‘tribe_events’ and not ‘event’.
    I went ahead and tried that fix in the plugin’s code with the current version, but that doesn’t seem to cut it.

    I think it would be worth it to try it with the latest version of the theme and to relay the correct post type taxonomy to the plugin author.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Thank you for the system information Justin,

    I am able to reproduce this issue on your website, but not on my installs.

    It looks like there might be a conflict at play here. Either with another plugin, with you WordPress theme or a theme customization.

    After a backup, could you please go through our complete testing for conflicts procedure (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know what you find out.

    Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.

    Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

    Good evening James,

    Thank you for your reply.

    Does that mean we would have to duplicate each show (and tickets) for every day we want them live? and if we do this, then we can have seperate capacity and attendee list for each date the show is on?

    Yes. Currently, the only way to have separate tickets, capacity and attendee reports is to duplicate the event for each date.
    I realize this is not ideal, but the plugin makes it slightly more manageable.

    As an alternative, if that workaround is not good for you, you could hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.

    I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning Steven,

    I’m sorry the CSS starting point I provided did not work for you.

    Before we continue, just to set expectations, the theme you are using actually includes some customizations on how the tickets are displayed.

    My main goal is to get you started on the right track, but if you have something pretty specific in mind, you might want to chat with the theme’s author or better yet, tweak the CSS below by adjusting the pixel size until you get it just right.

    That being said, since in you theme the input field also includes some quantity arrows inside the field itself (when you hover), you might want to completely hide the + and – signs altogether.

    .quantity .minus, .quantity .plus {
    display: none;
    }
    .tribe-ticket-quantity {
    margin-left: 10px !important;
    }
    .tribe-ticket-quantity {
    width: 40px !important;
    }

    Let me know if there is anything else not working to your expectations after these tweaks.

    Best regards,

    Geoff B.

    Good morning Christian,

    You might want to check the following snippet to restore everything back until we release it in one of our upcoming versions.

    Hello all,

    Good news! I believe the following snippet, added in your theme’s functions.php will restore the missing fields including the ticket #.

    Good evening Keinan,

    Thank you for the system info which I had to repost under my name to convert to “private”. I also deleted the previous thread to keep it anonymous.

    I understand the situation better now, you are talking about custom fields generated by the advanced custom fields plugin.
    The reason I was confused is because we now support additional fields directly within Pro: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-additional-fields/

    The short answer is that you will need to do some customization to include custom fields generated by a third-party plugin to be available in the filter.

    Just to set expectations, as you might know, the scope of our support is mostly to get our customers started on the right track and to help them in case of issues. We unfortunately do not provide complete support for customization.

    With that in mind, you could try to tackle this yourself. In which case I would recommend:

    I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.

    Good evening Chantal,

    Thank you for the system information.

    From the looks of it, there could a conflict at play.
    We will need to troubleshoot together to identify the culprit if you don’t mind.

    Full disclosure, since Enfold encapsulates the Events Calendar, this sometimes leads to unexpected behaviours.
    The good news is that worst case scenario, you could remove that encapsulation as stated here: http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/default-template-settings-missing-from-event-calendar-pro/

    Could you please go through our complete testing for conflicts procedure (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know what you find out.

    Alright, that sounds like a great plan.
