ParticipantHi There,
New to them, but love your plugins!
Our staging site is http://ihp.rightclick-testing.com/demo/ its basically a show in Dublin. We need the ability to be able to add the show to many dates thoughout the year for when our show is on. (All shows are the same, and at the same venue, just to clear that up! They will also have the same tickets for every show), so from a admin point we want to be able to apply it to loads of dates.
We are facing some issues when we add a recuring event (show!) this works great, but we need the ability to have a show capacity for each date, currently the ticket sales seem to just be on a global setting (i.e for all the shows that are in the recuring event).
We also need the ability to be able to print off an attendee list for each of the individual shows and use this a check for all the custoemrs who arrive to the show.
Could you point us in the right direction please?
Appreciate your help with this.
Cheers

MemberGood afternoon James and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the issues you have been facing.
I would love to help you with these questions. We are facing some issues when we add a recuring event (show!) this works great, but we need the ability to have a show capacity for each date, currently the ticket sales seem to just be on a global setting (i.e for all the shows that are in the recuring event).
That is correct. Currently, we do not support separate tickets for each recurrence of an event.
We apologize for the inconvenience this might be causing. The good news is that we are working on such a feature. Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point. But stay tuned!
In the meantime, some of our users are using the following plugin as a workaround and time-saver: https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicate-tec-event/
We also need the ability to be able to print off an attendee list for each of the individual shows and use this a check for all the custoemrs who arrive to the show.
This is intricately tied to the lack of tickets for each recurrence. As pointed out in the previous answer, your best bet for now is to duplicate events using the above plugin.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

ParticipantHi Geoff B,
Thanks for your prompt reply.
Its a pity, but good to hear you are workign on a fix for it!
Does that mean we would have to duplicate each show (and tickets) for every day we want them live? and if we do this, then we can have seperate capacity and attendee list for each date the show is on?
Cheers

MemberGood evening James,
Thank you for your reply.

Yes. Currently, the only way to have separate tickets, capacity and attendee reports is to duplicate the event for each date.
I realize this is not ideal, but the plugin makes it slightly more manageable. As an alternative, if that workaround is not good for you, you could hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.
Have a great day!
