MemberGood morning Brad,
Thank you for the screencast.
Actually, the interface you are showing me comes from http://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-events/11753111
As you can imagine, we can’t provide support for that third-party plugin 🙂
But, I would gladly support our plugin if you need me to.
Best regards,

Again, we are truly sorry about this.
I’m mostly glad that you were able to get your site working again.
I have passed your recommendations along to our Dev team.
This way they can run some additional tests and validations on simultaneous plugin updates to avoid such things from happening again.Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
You are welcome back on our support forums any time 🙂
For now, I am going to close this thread.
Have a great weekend!

I’m super stoked that you were able to figure this out and get the site back up and running!
Thank you for sharing your solution. I will make sure I will pass it along to our Dev team to see if they cannot perform certain additional validations to prevent such a thing from happening again.

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the potential conflict with the Divi theme’s video module.
I would love to help you with this topic. As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
That way I will be able to setup my install to try to reproduce (and hopefully solve) the issue.

MemberGood evening Anthony and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us and for providing your system information.
We are sorry to hear about the layout being broken by activating the Events Calendar.
This was certainly unexpected and unintended. We apologize for the inconvenience this is causing.I would love to help you with this topic.
As a first step, after activating the plugin, can you:
- Go to Settings > Permalinks and re-save your permalinks
- Go to Events -> Settings -> Display and re-save your settings there and perhaps change the settings for Events Template to see if that helps ?
Secondly, could you tell me if in Events -> Settings -> General the Include events in main blog loop option is checked ?
Finally, would it be possible to send me a copy of your WordPress theme / child theme in a .zip file link (via Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I suspect there might be theme conflict at play here that I need to test.
In the meantime, after a database backup, you might consider rolling back to the previous version until we figure out what is going on.
You will find the files of the previous versions here:
- the Events Calendar free: https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/developers/
- the premium plugins: https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

We are sorry to hear about the price tag discrepancy when using a discount.
I would love to help you with this topic.I absolutely see what you mean.
Before I open this as a bug, could you tell me if the price is corrected if you remove the discount schedule on your end ?That being said, you could try adding the following snippet to correct the issue: https://git.io/voBAD
Finally, if you don’t mind, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the issues you are experiencing with the license keys.
I would love to help you with this topic.my Events Tickets Plus is giving me the message that my key is out of installs. How does this make sense? How/why can I not clone the exact same site without receiving this error message?
This is because the license key is actually also tied to a URL (as you can see here: https://theeventscalendar.com/license-keys/)
That being said, things should still work properly in spite of that message. The only thing that it will prevent you to do is to upgrade on that install.
I believe you might be interested by the following post on that topic: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-one-license-for-your-live-and-dev-sites/
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

We are sorry to hear that you are unable to create manual tickets for your customers.
I would love to help you with this topic. However, when I select Add Ticket, it takes me to a page to select the event and the event I created is not listed in the drop down.
I am not sure where you are clicking on Add Ticket exactly. Could you provide me with a screenshot or a URL so that I can make sure I get this correctly ?
The good news is that there are a few ways to create manual tickets. The simplest one is probably to use a third-party plugin such as “shop as a customer”: http://codecanyon.net/item/shop-as-customer-for-woocommerce/7043722

Thank you for writing back and following the procedure.
I’m sorry I was not clear on that last step.
To reset it, you can simply delete the row attached to that post_id.
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening Richard,
Thank you for writing back.
Based on the complete system information, my earlier recommendations of solutions still stand.
However, since you are using Canvas, there is something else you could try that would be worth a shot.
Could you go to Events -> Settings -> Display and change the value of the the Events template and hit save to see if that helps ?
Let me know what solution you decide on and if you need assistance in that process.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberGood evening Joanna,
Thank you for writing back.
I’m glad the snippet worked for you!
Is there any way of changing the order of when events appear to make the non reoccurring events (for a particular day) appear first and the reoccurring events follow? Should I start a new thread for this ?
Yes, I am sure there is a way to do this.
Just to set expectations though, as you might know, the scope of our support is mostly to get our customers started on the right track and to help them in case of issues. We unfortunately do not provide complete support for customization.
With that in mind, I believe it is still totally worth opening another thread for (as per your suggestion).
As you have guessed, we try to keep threads limited to one issue (for many different reasons) as much as possible 🙂Thank you for your understanding.
Best regards,
Geoff B.
June 23, 2016 at 10:48 pm in reply to: how do I Setup "Name your Price" for an event ticket with Woocommerce. #1131366Geoff B.
MemberGood evening Helder,
Thank you for writing back.
I totally understand what you are saying.
We do try our best to be fully compatible with as many plugins as possible.
For the most part we are pretty successful. But sometimes it requires a bit of customization to work as with Name your price (at least for the moment). As much as we love to help, we simply do not have the necessary ressources to do that for our customers on an individual basis unfortunately.
On a personal level, I think it would be a very cool feature.
You could suggest it as a feature request here: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas that way people can vote for it.Also, since you mentioned that you are a non profit organization. Have you considered applying for our program ?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/do-you-offer-discounts-for-nonprofit-organizations/I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.
The good news is you are fully entitled to a refund if you want one since you are within 30 days of your purchase. To obtain the refund, you just need to follow the procedure described here.
Best regards,
Geoff B.
