ParticipantI need to have a ticket for an event with a suggested price and the buyer enters an amount they want to pay for the event ticket. I have woocommerce, name your price extension, events calendar pro, tickets Plus but the event ticket is missing the field to enter a price. It just displays the suggested price and when it is added to cart I get an error stating value can’t be 0. Which I assume is the price value. Any help would be really appreciated. thx

MemberGood evening Helder and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. That is a very interesting question.
In full disclosure we have never tested compatibility with this specific plugin. Our ticket purchase form is close to the WooCommerce Add to Cart Form, but might be missing a hook that plugin needs.
Our form can be customized in the theme so it could be modified there if need be. You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.
Additionally, you could hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.
That being said, I assume you already checked the appropriate checkbox as explained here https://docs.woothemes.com/document/name-your-price/#section-4 in the WooCommerce product. Can you confirm ?
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

ParticipantIs there anyway The Event Calendar crew can take a look. This is for a Not for Profit org that can Not afford custom programming. They purchased this plug in believing it was fully compatible with woocommerce and its supported extensions, including name your price.

MemberGood evening Helder,
Thank you for writing back.
I totally understand what you are saying.
We do try our best to be fully compatible with as many plugins as possible.
For the most part we are pretty successful. But sometimes it requires a bit of customization to work as with Name your price (at least for the moment). As much as we love to help, we simply do not have the necessary ressources to do that for our customers on an individual basis unfortunately.
On a personal level, I think it would be a very cool feature.
You could suggest it as a feature request here: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas that way people can vote for it.Also, since you mentioned that you are a non profit organization. Have you considered applying for our program ?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/do-you-offer-discounts-for-nonprofit-organizations/I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.
The good news is you are fully entitled to a refund if you want one since you are within 30 days of your purchase. To obtain the refund, you just need to follow the procedure described here.
Best regards,
Geoff B.
