MemberGood evening Sarah and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the tooltip being truncated on your site.
I would love to help you with this topic. As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Secondly, if I am not mistaken, the tooltip uses the same excerpt rules as the WordPress excerpt.
You can read about this here: https://theeventscalendar.com/the-trouble-with-excerpts/That way you could at least control what is displayed.
To further customize the tooltip, you will need to use a template override or a custom function.
You can read about that here: https://theeventscalendar.com/customizations/
More specifically, You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works. If coding is not really your cup of tea, you could always hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

I would love to help you with this topic.Since you are using WPML, I highly recommend reading and using the following guides:
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/creating-translations-for-events-using-wpml/
As per your specific issue, once you have completed the setup above, you might want to look at Language filtering for AJAX operations under WPML > Languages.
Try with and without the checkbox.
In most cases, that resolves the issue.
Let me know how that goes.

MemberHello again José,
For the purchase of tickets I need that it is mandatory that the user registers, is this possible?
The short answer is yes.
But this will also depend on what you mean by registering (answer a few questions or provide attendee information is the most common definition, other simply want users to create an account).Either way, we have you covered.
To do this you will need to grab a copy of our Event Tickets Plus premium add-on: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-event-tickets-plus/
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the license issue you have bumped into after migrating.
I would love to help you with this topic.I am unable to access ticket sales functionality or updates at the primary domain. Can someone please help with this?
First off, I believe the ticket sales issue functionality issue is caused by the fact that you are using a dated version of Event Tickets Plus.
To work properly with Event Tickets (and WooCommerce), you have to make sure that the version of Event Tickets Plus you are using has been released more or less around the same time as your version of your other the Events Calendar plugins.
In this case, I would start by updating to Event Tickets Plus 4.6.2.
If that still does not work, you might need to perform a testing for conflict procedure.
Try temporarily reverting back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if that helps. As for the migration, the good news is that you should totally be able to move your license keys without a problem. In fact, here is an article to help you achieve that: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-your-license-keys/
Let me know how that goes.

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.Do you offer developer installation services for the community events plugin?
No we do not.
But, we have an awesome new user primer for that purpose: http://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/new-user-primer-community-events/
If that is still not really your cup of tea, you could always hire one of our recommended customizers to do the customization for you.
Let me know if that helps.

We’ll be glad to answer your questions. With this plugin can I create private events, ie, that are accessed only by registered users?
Yes you can. There are a couple of ways to achieve this.
I would recommend to read the following articles as a starting point:

We’ll be glad to answer your questions. Is it correct that, if I would like to have the filter options as shown here: http://wpshindig.com, I also have to buy the Filter Bar? Or is that one included in the pro version?
That is correct. The Events Calendar Pro and Filter Bar are 2 separate premium add-ons to the Events Calendar.
In fact we need the pro version, the filter bar and the ability of user-submitted events. That means 3 times at least $89,00, correct?
Yes, that is correct. You will likely need to grab a copy of Community Events as well: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-community-events/
You are right. There is unfortunately no bundle that matches that exact combination at this time.
But the good news is that these purchases will provide you with awesome premium support to help you make sure that everything runs smoothly for your client.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

I would love to help you with this topic. How can I upgrade my Event Calender PRO account from Personal (on 1 site) to Buisiness (on 3 sites)?
This is typically accomplished via your license key page (look for the upgrade link under each product): https://theeventscalendar.com/license-keys/
I have to be sure that the Event Calender PRO plugin is NOT in conflict with the Divi-Theme from Elegant Themes. Please let me know if that’s true.
That is correct, we have a large number of customers using Divi alongside the Events Calendar successfully.
We even have an extension to make that super easy: https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/elegant-themes-divi-theme-compatibility/
Shall you still bump into any issue, we’ll gladly help you finish up your setup.
Have a great day!

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.First off, you mention Shortcodes Pro (https://eventcalendarnewsletter.com/the-events-calendar-shortcode/). Although that plugin works with our products, it is not programmed or maintained by us.
I would recommend reaching out to that developper.
As you can imagine, we unfortunately cannot help you out with that plugin.
However, we would be glad to support you with our the Events Calendar Pro plugin that does offer full shortcode abilities: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/Best regards,

MemberGood evening Kyle and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
I’m afraid that we’re not equipped to provide technical support for the Events Calendar free users here in our pre-sales forum.
But, the good news is that you are still welcome to consult this forum and all our premium forums to your liking and browse it for solutions, snippets and tutorials.
We’d be more than happy to assist you on the <span style=”font-family: inherit; font-size: 0.875rem;”>WordPress.org support forum for </span>the Events Calendar<span style=”font-family: inherit; font-size: 0.875rem;”>.</span>
With that in mind, I recommend including an actual link to a page with the issue. This would make this much easier to troubleshoot.
Finally, since Avada has been very involved into integrating nicely with the Events Calendar, I would recommend reaching out to them since they know their theme best.
Have a great day!

We’ll be glad to answer your questions.I highly recommend reading the 3 following articles on translation:
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/how-to-override-plugin-language-files/
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/incomplete-translations/
This should let you at least get at least 73% of the strings translated (the current percentage of completion at the time of writing).
Let me know how that goes.

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the import options being grayed out on your site. Yikes!
I would love to help you with this topic. As a side note, I am also noticing that you are using WPML.
I highly recommend reading and using the following guides as it seems that your configuration is incomplete:- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/setting-up-the-events-calendar-with-wpml/
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/creating-translations-for-events-using-wpml/
However, for the time being, we do not offer official support for Event Aggregator with WPML: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/wpml-support/
So the very first thing I would try is to temporarily deactivate WPML altogether to see if that fixes the issue.
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening Alana and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. You are absolutely right. WooCommerce tickets has actually been retired for a while now.
The good news is that all of its features (and many new ones) are available within Event Tickets Plus. The correct article to perform the migration is: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-to-event-tickets-plus/
As you can see, you will actually need to install the Event Tickets Plus plugin for this to work AND use the Event Tickets Plus license key. Following the guide should make this fairly straightforward.
Your license key for Event Tickets Plus can be found under: https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/license-keys/
There are also all two billed versions of Events Tickets Plus, one which renews next July and one which renews next November, not sure why.
I believe this is because for some reason there was a duplicate entry for the WooTickets license.
When we made the switch the system automatically generated a license of Event Tickets Plus for each entry of WooTickets. In any case, you can simply not renew the extra one. We apologize for the confusion this might have caused
Let me know how that goes.
