Hi,
I have a problem with loading the button of the next month.
It does not work, I have all plugins/wordpress already updated.
I have deactivated all plugins/ Java on the settings, but the problem still exists. What could it be?
December 1, 2017 at 11:02 pm #1397093Geoff B.MemberGood evening Jasmin and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. From what I am seeing, there is some kind jQuery/Ajax/Javascript issue on your site.
You can see it in the Google developper console when you click on the next month button. As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
By the sound of it, it looks like there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:- A conflict with another plugin (but it sounds like you have already tested that)
- A conflict with your WordPress theme
- A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists (using a maintenance page plugin to hide this from your customers if you are testing the live site).
Let me know how that goes.

first of all thanks for your answer.
I found out that the problem is on the wordpress theme.
The theme has the current version and theme and plugin have been running for 1 year without any problems.
Maybe you can give me an advise or some help now to fix it?Many thanks for your help so far.
Have a nice Day.Jasmin
December 11, 2017 at 12:14 pm #1403125Geoff B.MemberGood afternoon Jasmin,
Kudos on finding the cause of the issue.
Could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.
Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.Hang in there!

December 12, 2017 at 8:48 am #1403833Geoff B.MemberGood morning Jasmin,
Thank you for the files and the system information.
PHP 5 is still OK, although PHP 7+ is definitely highly recommended.
With that in mind, it looks like your current PHP max execution time is set to zero.
I would highly recommend fixing that. You can ask your web host for help.I am also getting the following message as I activate your theme
Your theme (Everline) contains outdated copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need updating to ensure they are compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. You can see which files are affected from the system status page.
You might want to look into that as well.
As for the theme itself, I installed it on my end.
It works for the initial “previous” or “next” attempt. However, after that, it breaks with a Javascript / jQuery error (in the Google Chrome Developer console).
So it looks like the issue is that there is a conflicting version of a script in the theme itself (probably an older version).
Since it looks like the theme is about 2 years old, I am pretty sure that this is the cause of the issue. The next step would be to hunt down the conflicting script.
The best person to help with that would be the theme author. In fact, since they are offering compatibility with the Events Calendar I am pretty sure they will be very interested in helping out. The first step would be to dequeue all scripts and reactivate them one-by-one until it breaks.
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

When something like this happens, after a backup of your database, we typically recommend downgrading back to the last working version of our plugins on your site.
I recommend reading the following: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/downgrading-plugin-past-version/

Keep me posted.
As suggested, to buy you time, you might want to downgrade temporarily.
Have a great day!

December 20, 2017 at 9:21 pm #1410544Geoff B.MemberGood evening Jasmin,
I am sorry downgrading the Events Calendar did not yield the expected results.
Do you know how old that latest version of your theme is ? Or better yet, could I get a copy of that version ?
Secondly, it is possible that downgrading the Events Calendar might need a bit of trial and error (including going several versions back). Finally, it is quite possible that you might need to downgrade WordPress as well to match the theme’s age.
What I am seeing is that something in the theme is creating an error 500 after the second time you click on the next event link.
jquery.js?ver=1.12.4:4 POST http://www.tangoloft-berlin.de/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php 500 (Internal Server Error)
Most likely there is a conflict between WordPress’ JQuery and the version enqueued by your theme.
Finally, something else to try out would be to disable the caching for the month view under Events -> Settings -> General in case that helps.
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,
