We are sorry to hear about the import options being grayed out on your site. Yikes!
I would love to help you with this topic.

As a side note, I am also noticing that you are using WPML.
I highly recommend reading and using the following guides as it seems that your configuration is incomplete:

2. https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/creating-translations-for-events-using-wpml/

However, for the time being, we do not offer official support for Event Aggregator with WPML: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/wpml-support/

So the very first thing I would try is to temporarily deactivate WPML altogether to see if that fixes the issue.
