MemberHey Alison,
I’m sorry I missed your correct name.
You are right, the account number name confused me and somehow I did not see it afterwards. My bad.I went ahead and asked Dev about this.
Although it is possible that the staging environment is to blame, there are other possible causes for this.
Here are the top recommendations:
- Can you check if possibly there is not a mixed content issue (some of the resources being loaded over http while others are loaded via https.
- Ensure that both URLs under Settings in wp-admin are matching (either http or https depending on your setup)
- Give the following plugin a shot: https://wordpress.org/plugins/ssl-insecure-content-fixer/
- Reinstalling our plugins in that environment (I know it sounds silly, but you would be surprised how effective that can be sometimes)
- Could you please provide us with that iCal link for testing purposes
- Would it be possible to log in to look (not to touch) ?
Thank you for sticking with us through this.
No matter what you decide (although we would hate to see you go), we would really like to be able to figure this one out for everybody’s benefit.Best regards,
Geoff B.

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the wrong plugin being bought accidentally.
I would love to help you with this topic.I went ahead and swapped your license for a Community Events since they are sold at the same price.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Kristina,
I am glad the CSS helped.
Here are a couple of additional rules that I believe will help achieving the result you are looking for:
@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
.tribe-mobile #tribe_events_filters_wrapper.tribe-events-filters-horizontal, .tribe-mobile #tribe_events_filters_wrapper.tribe-events-filters-vertical {
display: inline-block !important;
clear: both !important;
height: auto !important;
}#tribe-events-content {
z-index: 4 !important;
}
}Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Darren,
Thank you for your understanding and definitely keep me posted as to what your web host can offer.
Also when there are no events the map loads in showing Gabon and the site is based in the UK, how do you set it so the map defaults to the UK? or certain latlng by default?
You are right, the second question went unaddressed. My bad.
Let me provide you with some answers.This is closely tied to the first issue. When the API is not able to work properly, it seems to default to West Africa for some reason.
As you can read about here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/troubleshooting-map-view/ , the only known workaround for now would be to try to use the latitude and longitude settings in your events.

MemberGood evening James,
Thank you for writing back.
First off, I would like to apologize if I gave the wrong impression while attempting to help with this issue.
My main goal is to be able to troubleshoot the issue and, though cooperating with you, find a fix for it.
With that in mind, I did go ahead and tried to reproduce the issue as you can see in my reply above. Unfortunately, I was not able to do so in spite of my best attempts.
This leads me to believe that there might be something else going on.
In order to be able to mimic your installation better, the next steps would be to:
- Get a copy of your specific system information (in a private reply): https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
- Go through the testing for conflicts procedure
At the very least, having your system information will enable me to run the conflict test for you.
Best regards,

MemberGood evening Johan,
I have great news.
Here is an extension (you can install it as a plugin) that adds the currency settings in your Events -> Settings -> General menu: https://theeventscalendar.com/content/uploads/2015/05/tribe-ext-ticket-currency-settings-1-0-0.zip
That will not address the separator issue, but it’s definitely a step in the right direction.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Ron and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear that you have to deal with the bumpdown error messages (which breaks a lot of our plugin’s functionality). I would love to help you with this topic.
You are right. A fix is underway.
However, in the meantime, there are a couple of workarounds.
You can:
- Head over to your WP-Admin and go to Settings. Once you are there, please ensure that both URLs are https or http (depending on your situation). Basically, they need to match
- Try the following plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/ssl-insecure-content-fixer/
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

We are sorry to hear about the tickets disappearing on you while using WPML.
I would love to help you with this topic.You are right. At the present time, we do not offer WPML support for tickets.
You can see that here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/wpml-support/The good news is that work to provide such compatibility as started.
Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point. But stay tuned!
The good news is you are fully entitled to a refund if you want one since you are within 30 days of your purchase. To obtain the refund, you just need to follow the procedure described here.
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.
Have a great day!

MemberGood afternoon Christopher and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.Based on what you are describing, the perfect solution would be to use RSVP tickets for your free events and Event Tickets Plus with WooCommerce for your paid events.
As we unfortunately don’t have any payment gateways we have to deal with the registrations individually so we can’t offer woocommerce or something similar.
Actually, you do not need a payment gateway to use WooCommerce. You can set up “payment gateways” such as “Cheque” or “Cash on Delivery”.
What you would need to do is customize the labels of the purchase buttons.
This does not really require programming, but some changes in the language files and template files.In both cases, I could assist you with that.
The only downside is that ALL RSVP tickets would be labeled Buy for free and all the WooCommerce tickets would be labeled Buy for … xx €”
Would that work for you ?

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.Is there a way to allow editor users the ability to see the settings area of the plugin?
I believe you can accomplish this while using a third-party plugin such as Members.
You can read all about it here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/admin-roles-and-permissions/Let me know if that helps.

MemberGood afternoon Michael,
I believe you are right. Varying thumbnail heights, because of the way the CSS is set, will likely result in unwanted display behaviour.
One thing you could do is limit this via CSS.
Try adding the following CSS rule to your style.css file or in your Custom CSS metabox:
.tribe-events-list .tribe-events-event-image img {
max-height: 197px;
}Let me know if that helps.

MemberGood evening Matt,
I am super stoked that this worked our for you!
Actually, these extensions are a new thing that is not 100% out, but will be very soon.
Once it is, you will get a complete list of them via the extension library.So far, the pre-release response has been fantastic.
You are welcome back in our support forums any time 🙂
For now, I am going to close this thread.
Have a great week!
