ParticipantHi,
In case of German data security we need some conditional logic when a visitor selects a ticket.
We have two different ticket types. When a visitor selects ticket type 1 the title of the confirmation button should be “Buy for free” or something similar.
But when a visitor selects ticket type 2 the title needs to change to “Buy for 500€”, for example. This is mandatory due to German law.As we unfortunately don’t have any payment gateways we have to deal with the registrations individually so we can’t offer woocommerce or something similar.
Is this possible with some kind of code editing?
Many thanks in advance!

MemberGood afternoon Christopher and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.Based on what you are describing, the perfect solution would be to use RSVP tickets for your free events and Event Tickets Plus with WooCommerce for your paid events.
As we unfortunately don’t have any payment gateways we have to deal with the registrations individually so we can’t offer woocommerce or something similar.
Actually, you do not need a payment gateway to use WooCommerce. You can set up “payment gateways” such as “Cheque” or “Cash on Delivery”.
What you would need to do is customize the labels of the purchase buttons.
This does not really require programming, but some changes in the language files and template files. In both cases, I could assist you with that.
The only downside is that ALL RSVP tickets would be labeled Buy for free and all the WooCommerce tickets would be labeled Buy for … xx €”
Would that work for you ?
Best regards,

ParticipantHi,
thank you very much for your immediate repsonse!
This could definitely be a workaround, but first af all I have to become acquainted with Woocommerce because I have never used it before and am not sure whether it could be too “big” for our simple needs.

MemberGood afternoon Christopher,
I am glad my answer was helpful to you.
I totally understand what you are saying. WooCommerce is actually pretty friendly and simple for an e-commerce system. If you go through one of the many online basic setup guides and ignore the options you don’t need, you should be pleasantly surprised.
Let me know how that goes.
