ParticipantHello!
The “Event Sales Report” at /wp-admin/admin.php?post_type=tribe_events&page=tickets-orders&event_id=xxx is not using the currency nor decimal/thousand separators set in Woocommerce settings, but seems to be hardcoded as USD and period decimal separator.December 2, 2016 at 12:23 pm #1201021Geoff B.
MemberGood afternoon Johan and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. You do make great points and you are absolutely right.
I just opened a bug ticket for this and I will see if this is fixable with a code snippet.
Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point. But stay tuned, you will be contacted when the fix is released.
Thank you for your understanding!
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberHi again Johan,
I may have spoken too fast.
Can you head over to Events -> Settings -> General and change the default currency value ?Let me know how that goes.

No such setting exist.
The screen capture below show everything that is available at Events -> Settings -> General.December 2, 2016 at 5:56 pm #1201101Tom Stone
ParticipantSeems to be other things missing as well.
At Events -> Settings -> Display, it says “The following three fields accept…” – but there are not three fields, it’s just one field.December 5, 2016 at 7:57 pm #1201841Geoff B.
MemberGood afternoon Johan,
Thank you for writing back and for the screenshots.
This allowed me to find out that you are using Event Tickets standalone.
This is very unfortunate for our customers that do not use the Events Calendar.I will reopen the bug ticket I had originally opened and will ask if it is possible to get a snippet as a temporary workaround.
Hang in there as I follow up on this for you.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberGood evening Johan,
I have great news.
Here is an extension (you can install it as a plugin) that adds the currency settings in your Events -> Settings -> General menu: https://theeventscalendar.com/content/uploads/2015/05/tribe-ext-ticket-currency-settings-1-0-0.zip
That will not address the separator issue, but it’s definitely a step in the right direction.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

ParticipantThanks!
Will this be rolled into the main plugin at a future date? A reminder to uninstall this would be useful in that case.
Btw, isn’t it better to import these settings from Woocommerce? Feels a bit odd to do the same settings twice, in two different places, since those settings are imported from Woocommerce elsewhere in your extension.December 7, 2016 at 9:54 am #1202784Geoff B.
MemberGood afternoon Johan,
Thank you for writing back.
This is a good question. We usually have pretty thorough release notes.
The goal of small extensions such as this one is that they can indeed be integrated in the main plugin at a later date if their popularity warrants it.It is too early to know if that is going to be the case with this one. But keep an eye out!
Btw, isn’t it better to import these settings from Woocommerce?
In theory yes. However, the thing is that the Sales report can serve for a variety of scenarios ( WooCommerce based tickets, EDD tickets, a mix of the two, etc…).
So, there is no doubt the code could be improved (and there is a ticket for this), but we have to be mindful of all of our different customers needs.
Best regards,
Geoff B.
