December 14, 2016 at 3:29 pm in reply to: Events countdown ‘completed text’ showing when it shouldn’t… #1206195
Geoff B.
MemberGood afternoon Toby and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. You are absolutely right. If an event is in progress, the “Countdown completed text” will display.
I believe my colleague Andras offered the best suggestion on a very similar request: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/countdown-when-its-over-switch-to-the-next-event/
With that in mind, I have opened a feature request for you.
To set expectations, unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point. But at least it is logged and you will be contacted when it is released.Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberGood afternoon Parveen,
The short answer is probably yes.
We have built our plugins to make sure people could customize them.
You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.

For now, I am going to close this thread.

MemberHey Melanie,
Thank you for clarifying this.
What is odd is that while having your specific theme installed, those 3 emails do contain the attendee information.
Maybe I misunderstood what you said, but I was under the impression that believed you mentioned that the admin order did not contain the attendee information, nor did the customer’s email: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/attendees-in-admin-email/#post-1200669
This is why, although it is not impossible that your theme has something causing the conflict, I believe the issue my lie somewhere else hence the suggestion for the complete testing procedure.
I realize this is not much fun to do, but at least we would leave no stone unturned. Furthermore the message you are getting while trying to purchase other products should also be part of those tests and is pointing at some type of conflict.
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

MemberGood evening Arnau,
I was able to investigate this fully.
If you can, I would highly recommend upgrading to the latest version of WPML and all related plugins.
I believe what is going on is that for certain strings, WPML is confusing Catalan with French (Canada).
I am not exactly sure why that is, but I think it comes from the fact that French Canada’s language code is fr-ca and Catalan’s is simply -ca.
If upgrading WPML does not help, I would highly recommend temporarily switching back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen (while you have a maintenance page up).
Hang in there and let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

MemberGood evening Rob,
Thank you for writing back.
I am sorry to hear that the recommended tweaks did not fix your issue. Yikes!
I totally understand how frustrating that must be!
Please know that I want nothing more than to help you update and get rid of these nasty error messages as quickly as possible.
With that in mind, I believe we need to pull out the big guns and leave no stone unturned.
- I would recommend reading the following: http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-the-internal-server-error-in-wordpress/ . I realize you are using a Window server, but we need to make sure your memory settings (PHP and all) are sufficient.
- While doing the upgrade, can you deactivate the Events Calendar Pro completely and only upgrade the Events Calendar free to 4.3.4.2 . and see if that still generates the error ?
- If step 2, proved successful, can you then separately upgrade the Events Calendar Pro manually and see how that goes after activation of the plugin ?
- If in any of the previous steps, there is an issue, can you temporarily revert back to Divi (not your child theme and see if that helps) ?
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberHey Chris,
I am super stoked that this was helpful to you.
What my second point meant was that if you go over to Events -> Settings -> Display, there is a dropdown menu available for the Events template option.
Depending on the theme, some of these options might or might not work.
The only way to find out is to try them out.Typically, the Default Event Template always works, regardless of the theme.
In your theme’s case, it looks like this is the only available option, since “Default page template” does not work (and it was set to that).
In any case, the important part is that it now works.
Let me know if you any other questions.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the ticket meta data missing.

December 13, 2016 at 8:20 pm in reply to: Remove ‘export listed events’ from upcoming events view #1205688Geoff B.
MemberGood evening Lisa and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the struggles you have encountered while trying to use the iCal export button. I would love to help you with this topic.
You are absolutely right, it looks like the export listed events on the Organizer page is broken.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this glitch.Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date for a fix at this point. But you will be contacted as soon as there is one.
In the meantime, try adding the following CSS rule to your style.css file or in your Custom CSS metabox:
.single-tribe_organizer .tribe-events-ical {display:none !important;}Thank you for your patience as we see this through.
Best regards,

MemberBonsoir Thierry,
Un plug-in tel Members devrait vous permettre d’atteindre votre but.
En espérant que le tout vous aidera.
Salutations,

MemberGood evening Jürgen,
Thank you for following up.
This specific issue unfortunately did not make the cut for the last couple of maintenance releases (including the one that should be coming this week).
We are working at squashing bugs as fast as we can, but alas, sometimes that means making tough calls as to which gets worked on first.
I just escalated this one since it has been a while.
Thank you for your understanding.

MemberGood evening Ryan and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the challenges you have encountered after updating events.
I would love to help you with this topic.I went ahead and clicked on the event you suggested and it did appear correctly on my end.
Did you change anything on your end ?Could you tell me what happened exactly when you did update your event and tried to click on it (what error message did you get) ?
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberGood evening Sandra and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. You are absolutely correct. At this point, there is absolutely no compatibility available.
The good news is that we have begun work on this.
Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date at this point. But stay tuned!
In the meantime, it is not much of a workaround, but you could create separate tickets (meaning that their stock count will not be synchronized).
To achieve that, you need to go to WPML > Support > Troubleshooting page and run all the buttons found under the Cleanup section immediately after ticket creation.
This will at least make the saved ticket appear.
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have.
Have a great day!
