MemberGood afternoon Carole,
It’s hard to say exactly why the Checkout field editor is causing issues. But, I am pretty confident that WooCommerce will tackle that bug.
As you can see, this literally has nothing to do with our plugins.
I also did look at the PHP log.
The following is actually not an error message
[28-Jun-2017 00:00:04 UTC] event-tickets/common – Log: Initializing Tribe Events on Jun, 28th at 12:06:04 am
Other than that, I could not see much pertaining to our plugin’s behaviour. But maybe you did ?
Either way, as stated before, I would suggest a couple of things:
- See if the checkout field plugin conflicts when reverting back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen
- See if you still have the issue with the emails not being sent when using the cheque payment gateway.
Something else worth experimenting with is getting rid of all of the WooCommerce add-ons temporarily and slowly reactivating them to see how the behaviour changes.
The reason that I am bringing this up is because WooCommerce updates are often released.
Although this is great, sometimes it takes a while for the other plugins and extensions to catch up.One thing that is totally worth a shot is to try to change your settings under Events -> Settings -> Display for Events Template to see if that changes anything.
Have a good weekend,

MemberGood afternoon Lou,
Thank you for writing back.
I understand that my colleague suggested different ideas to you, including CSS.
However, for your specific remaining need CSS won’t help you.Just to set expectations, the scope of our support is mostly to get our customers started on the right track and to help them in case of issues.
We unfortunately do not provide complete support for customization.
With that in mind, here are 2 ways to about what you want to do:
- The login is rendered using WordPress built-in functionalities. If you want easy and complete control, I would strongly advise using https://wordpress.org/plugins/theme-my-login/
- As for the text “Event Submitted”, it originates from the plugin’s language files. If you simply want to swap things out (replace the Event submitted with another string), you could use https://gist.github.com/andrasguseo/29903a974cb84060957881c17613c278
Once edited, it goes in the functions.php file of your WordPress theme..
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood afternoon Luc,
Thank you for the files.
Aside from the fact that your version of Divi needs updating, I do not see anything out of the ordinary. There are 2 approaches to trouble shoot this further:
- Try to use WPML’s repair tools.Head over to WPML > Support > Troubleshooting page.Once you are there, you should see several cleanup buttons. I would recommend:
- Clearing WPML cache
- Using ALL the cleanup buttons on that page
- Re-saving your permalinks
- Looking for a conflict
- A conflict with another plugin
- A conflict with your WordPress theme
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
- Make a backup of your database
- Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Let me know how that goes.

MemberGood evening Ulf and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the language issues you are experiencing.
I would love to help you with this topic. As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Once I see how you are setup, I will be able to know more.
In the meantime, I would recommend re-saving your permalinks and temporarily clearing and deactivating all caching plugins you might have.
Hang in there!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the add to cart button not working properly on your site. Yikes!
I would love to help you with this topic.By the sound of it, it looks like there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:- A conflict with another plugin
- A conflict with your WordPress theme
- A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.

MemberGood evening Doron,
At my colleague Shelby’s request I will be pursuing this thread with you.
Before we continue, please note that we do not yet officially offer WPML compatibility with Community Events yet: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/wpml-support/
We are however working on making all of our plugins compatible.
In the meantime, some of our customers have achieved satisfactory compatibility: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/automatically-duplicating-added-event-calandar-items-on-publish-with-wpml/
With that in mind, I believe that your specific error is theme related.
Could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.
Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.Hang in there!

MemberGood evening Paula,
I am just following up to let you know that I have escalated this ticket.
Hang tight as this is being looked at.While this is going on, I was wondering if you could test increasing the number of simultaneous tickets bought ?
I am thinking that maybe there is a memory limit issue at stake when the number of attendee information fields capture gets really high on your installation.
Hang in there!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear that you can no longer edit recurring events. Yikes!
I would love to help you with this topic. Here are a couple of things to try:
- Temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen and see if the issue persists
- Go over to Events -> Settings -> General and hit the save button
- Re-save your permalinks.
- After a database backup. Deactivate and Delete the Events Calendar and the Events Calendar Pro plugins. Download a fresh copy of them from the site and reinstall them.
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

MemberGood evening Fernando and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.Based on your requirements, it sounds like this can be done.
What you are offering is a discount based on membership/role/group that can be set with different rules for each event.
This means you will need to:
- Create WordPress users out of your import
- Assign each of these users to custom WordPress roles or Groups
- Find a place to assign that special code and tie it to these WordPress users
From there, it’s up to you. You could try different things and plugins:
-
<li style=”text-align: left;”>User based discount plugin. E.g.: https://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-user-discount/5300086
- User role based discount plugin. E.g.: https://woocommerce.com/products/dynamic-pricing/
I believe that between that and some creative usage of a plugin such as Members or Groups combined with coupon codes, you should be able to get just what you need.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening Lou and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. The proper way to achieve what you are looking for is through some view customization (template override). You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.
Basically, you can take any view, tweak it to your liking and place it in your WordPress theme’s /tribe-events/ folder.
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,
