ParticipantHello. Don’t know if this is the correct thread.
I have Events Calendar Pro and Events Tickets Plus, installed together with WooCommerce.
What I need is:
- When selling a ticket, if the user enters a selected number on a custom form field – in our case, his CPF or CNPJ (same as social security number for id purposes) – the system checks if he’s registered – “associated” (this database exists and is not updated very often);
- If he’s registered on this existent database of associated members (that can be imported to wordpress, no problem with that – just four columns, name, surname, type and number), it will show him a discounted price, so he can buy tickets with an “associated” price
- Tricks: The discount should be configured for each event, it’s not a fixed % rate nor amount of money. Is it possible without major development? Any ideas or suggestions about it?
Thank you very much.

MemberGood evening Fernando and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.Based on your requirements, it sounds like this can be done.
What you are offering is a discount based on membership/role/group that can be set with different rules for each event.
This means you will need to:
- Create WordPress users out of your import
- Assign each of these users to custom WordPress roles or Groups
- Find a place to assign that special code and tie it to these WordPress users
From there, it’s up to you. You could try different things and plugins:
-
<li style=”text-align: left;”>User based discount plugin. E.g.: https://codecanyon.net/item/woocommerce-user-discount/5300086
- User role based discount plugin. E.g.: https://woocommerce.com/products/dynamic-pricing/
I believe that between that and some creative usage of a plugin such as Members or Groups combined with coupon codes, you should be able to get just what you need.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!
