Hi Doron,
That’s good to know! That makes a big difference!
I’m going to check in on this one with one of my teammates who sort of specializes in WPML issues. Please let me know if you uncover anything else in the meantime!
Best,
Shelby 🙂

July 6, 2017 at 9:20 pm #1317250Geoff B.MemberGood evening Doron,
At my colleague Shelby’s request I will be pursuing this thread with you.
Before we continue, please note that we do not yet officially offer WPML compatibility with Community Events yet:Â https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/wpml-support/
We are however working on making all of our plugins compatible.
In the meantime, some of our customers have achieved satisfactory compatibility:Â https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/automatically-duplicating-added-event-calandar-items-on-publish-with-wpml/
With that in mind, I believe that your specific error is theme related.
Could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.
Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made.Hang in there!
Geoff B.

Updated to the latest version issue persistsknow you are already underway to getting the WPML configuration just right.
this was because of a different issue that is not relevant to this one.
I was able to test your theme and it worked properly
The issue occurs while setting Hebrew to the default language of the site – did you do the same? If it’s not the theme then what? we spent 178$ on a set of plugins that don’t work.
It is usually better not to have competing versions of the same script on a web page. In an ideal world, you would dequeue the theme’s select2 script at least on the Community Events page.
I’ve deregistered the script
function tribe_dequeue_script_example() { wp_deregister_script( 'armonioso-select2' ); } add_action( 'wp_enqueue_scripts', 'tribe_dequeue_script_example', PHP_INT_MAX );
Only the /events/community/add/ script loads – still the issue persists
Also cleared al WPML cache.
How can we proceed on this so that the plugin will work?
Thanks
Doron

July 28, 2017 at 11:01 pm #1327824Geoff B.MemberGood evening Doron,
Just a quick follow-up to see if you had a chance to set that environment up ?
I can’t wait to get to the bottom of this for you.
Have a good weekend,

August 3, 2017 at 6:44 am #1329994DoronParticipantHey
We have a problem with our hosting. They don’t allow to set up a staging environment so we will need to somehow figure it out in another way.
If you want we can schedule a “maintenance time” when you can go in and do more aggressive testing
Thanks
Doron
August 7, 2017 at 11:23 pm #1331955Geoff B.MemberGood evening Doron,
First off, I would like to apologize for the delay answering.
We are currently experiencing a higher level of requests than usual. Please rest assured that we are working hard at correcting this situation.
We appreciate your patience while we try to normalize things.Thank you for the offer of the maintenance time, however, our company policy does not allow us to login and change anything on a live site unfortunately.
Perhaps you could use something like https://local.getflywheel.com/ and enable the live link.
That could double up as your staging environment.Another possibility would be to simply setup a copy of your site (as a “normal” site) under a subdomain (e.g. test.dialogtogether.com). Just make sure you block the search engines on that copy.
In other words, if your webhost does not let you set up a staging environment, chances are they will let you setup another “normal” website.
I wish I had a better answer for you, but for now it’s the best one I have unfortunately.
Best regards,
Geoff B.
August 9, 2017 at 11:51 pm #1333287DoronParticipantHey Geoff
Thanks for your answer and thank you for not giving up on us, and a big THANKS for introducing me local – It’s a grate tool! 🙂
I will try the live link option and let you know soon.
(our issue with the staging is we are not successful in getting all the site’s files to be able to replicate it – I’m on this with our hosting provider).
Thanks Agein
