MemberHi Harsh,
Thanks for getting in touch! I’m really glad to hear you’re considering our plugins for your projects and I hope they’re a great fit. 🙂
Excellent questions. We do indeed have a nonprofit program that would grant you a free license to both Events Calendar PRO and Event Tickets Plus if you are accepted to the program. Here’s much more detailed information, including a link to the application:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/do-you-offer-discounts-for-nonprofit-organizations/
As long as your government organization is either a 501(c)3 and 501(c)19 (or an international equivalent), then it can apply as well. 🙂
You mentioned specifically wanting the Importer Bundle. While the nonprofit program does not grant licenses for all of the products in that bundle, we would offer you a discount on those as well, if accepted.
 3) Can multi-site licenses be shared across organizations?
The Multisite License itself cannot be shared between different multisite networks, but the Business Level license can be shared between multiple single-site WordPress installations. In other words, one Multisite License per multisite installation and one Business License for up to three single-site WordPress installations.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHey Alexander,
Thanks for getting in touch!
That is a nice-looking calendar, right?! We love it. 🙂
That particular site uses Events Calendar PRO which includes a layout called Photo View. That will give you the card-style layout for events that are featured in the showcase screenshots of that site.
As far as the exact styling, like colors, fonts, and general look at feel, those come directly from the site’s theme. That’s unfortunately something not directly controlled by our plugins, but I bet that, if you reach out to the site administrator, they would share some tips and tricks with you. If it helps, I notice that they are using the following theme as a starter template:
Also, it’s worth noting that we have a Themer’s Guide that provides a helpful tips and tricks for styling the calendar itself. Definitely some great stuff in there. 🙂
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know.
Cheers!

MemberHi Peter,
Thanks for getting in touch!
This is indeed supposed to work and it is not working for you or anyone else at the moment. We have an open ticket for this that our developers now need to investigate and plan for an upcoming release.
I have gone ahead and made a note of this thread in the ticket. I will also move this thread to Pending Fix status so that we will be sure to follow-up with you when a fix is ready. While I do not have a timeframe for when this will be fixed, we will certainly keep you posted here in this thread.
In the meantime, you can still manually add featured images to an event after it has been imported, though I know that is neither ideal or convenient.
I am super sorry for the trouble and appreciate your patience while we work on this!
Thanks,
GeoffGeoff
MemberHi Ronald,
I am certainly bummed to hear you have been disappointed with our products and service. I am equally disappointed to see that each of the threads you have opened with us are awaiting responses from you after we have requested additional information in our attempts to help:
- https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/help-6/
- https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/the-events-calendar-pro-license-key-not-valid/
Regardless, I am happy to honor your request for a refund and have done so. The funds should be back in your account within 5-10 business days.
We’re sorry to see you go, but thanks for at least giving Events Calendar PRO a try!
Cheers and have a great weekend,
Geoff

MemberHi Kim,
Great question!
I think the easiest way to do this is to take advantage of the Featured Events feature. In other words, you can create a recurring event that repeats the last week of every month, then select the “Featured Event” option in the Event Options box in the event editor (screenshot).
Enabling that will spotlight the event by making it a different color than other events and make it the first event in Month View.
Or, if you would prefer, you could go to the Events > Settings > Display screen and add custom text to the bottom of all calendar pages in the “Add HTML after event content” box at the bottom of the settings screen.
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHi Russell,
Oh, gotcha. Yeah, I am afraid the snippet I provided will not do that exactly. I’m also afraid that I do not have another script that will accomplish that, nor was I able to find any other threads that might provide help.
The snippet hopefully should at least give you a decent starting point for this customization though. Given that it already looks for the ticket quantity input and sets a maximum limit, it needs to be tailored so that it recognizes when one input is greater than 1 and then sets a maximum of 0 on all others.
Sorry I don’t have a concrete solution for you here, but will this at least help get you started?
Thanks.

MemberHi Ben,
Thanks for clarifying! That makes a lot more sense an sorry I did not completely follow.
Yes, you can use the basic RSVP functionality of Event Tickets and paid tickets functionality of Event Tickets Plus separately, both on different events or even within the same event itself. That indeed would allow you to avoid a checkout process for certain tickets.
I hope this does a better job of answering your question.
Cheers and happy Friday,
GeoffGeoff
MemberPhotios,
One thing I ought to mention is that you can still use the basic RSVP functionality of Event Tickets when Event Tickets Plus is installed. In other words, you are still able to create a free ticket that is not connected to WooCommerce, which avoids the needs to go through a checkout process.
Steve, thanks for writing in! Yes, the combination of the following plugins will work for you:
- The Events Calendar – for the calendar itself
- Events Calendar PROÂ – for recurring events
- Event Tickets – for basic RSVP functionality and required for Event Tickets Plus
- Event Tickets Plus – for creating paid tickets and integrating with WooCommerce
It would be awesome if you could open a new thread if you have any other questions — that will help keep this thread focused on Photios’s questions and allow us to directly answer yours. 🙂
Cheers!

MemberHi Ben,
I’m afraid that the e-commerce plugins that are integrated with Event Tickets Plus all require going through a purchase, even if there is no cost. Otherwise, the e-commerce plugin would not be able to process the order. Event Tickets and Plus ask for the name and email address as a means of knowing where to email the ticket.
Does this help clarify things a bit?
Thanks!
GeoffGeoff
MemberHi Russell,
That script looks for the quantity inputs on the page and attempts to limit the number of tickets a person can add to one.
Cheers,
GeoffGeoff
MemberHi Photios,
Thanks for following up!
Yeah, I’m still afraid that the lack of recurring events support for tickets is going to be a deal breaker for you here. The date of the event on the ticket will not coordinate with a specific event in the recurring event series, so there will certainly be confusion for your attendees as far as which event date was purchased.
Does that help clarify things a bit? Sorry again for the bad news, I know how important having that feature would be for a site like yours.
Let me know if you have any other questions about how recurring events and tickets interact with one another and I’d be happy to help as best I can.
Thanks,
