I have looked at the showcase and found this particular style very pleasing:
I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction on how to recreate this style.
February 24, 2017 at 9:51 am #1245354GeoffMemberHey Alexander,
Thanks for getting in touch!
That is a nice-looking calendar, right?! We love it. 🙂
That particular site uses Events Calendar PRO which includes a layout called Photo View. That will give you the card-style layout for events that are featured in the showcase screenshots of that site.
As far as the exact styling, like colors, fonts, and general look at feel, those come directly from the site’s theme. That’s unfortunately something not directly controlled by our plugins, but I bet that, if you reach out to the site administrator, they would share some tips and tricks with you. If it helps, I notice that they are using the following theme as a starter template:
Also, it’s worth noting that we have a Themer’s Guide that provides a helpful tips and tricks for styling the calendar itself. Definitely some great stuff in there. 🙂
Does this help answer your question? Please let me know.
Cheers!

RIght now, when using the shortcode [tribe_events view=”photo”] I only get one large photo in one column and the rest of the vents are underneath. I want to have 3 columns next to each other, a card view like this:
http://wpshindig.com/events/photo/
I havent found anything about this in the knowledge base. What short code do I need to use to achieve this card view?
February 27, 2017 at 7:02 am #1246201GeoffMemberHi Alexander,
Thanks for following up! I hope you had a great weekend. 🙂
The card view (Photo view) should already be there for you using the same URL structure as the demo example you provided in your last reply:
[your-site]/events/photo
Are you unable to access Photo View on your site using the same? If not, I would be happy to look into it with you if you are able to send me a link to your calendar.
Thanks so much!
GeoffFebruary 27, 2017 at 7:27 am #1246212AlexanderParticipantThe url to my calendar is http://www.hafsten.se/wp/aktiviteter/ (I have translated events to aktiviteter). But trying to access http://www.hafsten.se/wp/aktiviteter/photo gives me a 404.
However, the calendar is supposed to show at the homepage of my website (http://www.hafsten.se/wp/) at the bottom. There I’m using the shortcode [tribe_events view=”photo”] but as I said it only shows one large column where I would like to have the card view with three columns.
I just assumed that there would be a special shortcode for that card view? Perhaps I’m missing something? I do have The Events Calendar Pro version.
February 27, 2017 at 2:40 pm #1246505GeoffMemberHey Alexander,
Quick question: will you please navigate to Events > Settings > Display and let me know if you have the Photo View option enabled?
Here’s how that should look:
The reason I ask is because Photo does not appear as an option in your calendar menu at the moment (screenshot), which suggests it is disabled.
If the option is disabled, enable it, save your settings, then re-check both your calendar and the homepage.
Thanks so much!
GeoffFebruary 27, 2017 at 11:45 pm #1246716AlexanderParticipantThank you! That was the problem. I remember now that I disabled it for some reason. Now I feel dumb for missing such a simple thing. Thank you so much for the help 🙂
February 28, 2017 at 7:02 am #1246864GeoffMemberRight on! I’m so glad to hear everything is working smoothly and I appreciate you following up to let us know. Definitely keep us posted if any other questions come up and we’d be happy to help. 🙂
