MemberHi Liran
I’m so sorry this happened! I definitely want to make the get-started process easier. https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/new-user-primer-event-tickets/ might help you get going a bit better.
It looks like you may not have installed WooCommerce plugin and activated it. If you send along your System Info, I can help troubleshoot why you aren’t seeing things display as our videos show.
Can you share what the challenges were that your developers faced? Have they referred to our Themer’s Guide.
We do offer 30 day refunds if you find the plugin does not meet your needs. It’s just a matter of submitting a refund request form at https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/refund-policy/.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks

Memberhttps://theeventscalendar.com/sale-black-friday-2017 shares the details for our Black Friday promotions, though your non-profit coupon code may be a better deal for you.
I would suggest updating to the agency level that covers up to 10 sites. You would need 2 business licenses technically to handle a total of 5 domains (yours plus 4), but this works out to the same price as an agency level license. This would be true if you are using subdomains vs subdirectories. With subdirectories, the same single license would work across all the sites.
You wouldn’t run into an issue on using a variety of licenses within your sites.
Does this help? Is there anything else I can clarify?
Thanks

MemberHi there
Event Aggregator is it’s own product. The scheduled imports displayed will work. Upon purchase, you’ll be given a license to add to Events » Settings » Licenses (you’ll need to have our free The Events Calendar installed for this to work).
You can automatically import events with EA while not having Events Calendar Pro. Modern Tribe is the developer behind Events Calendar Pro as well. You might’ve seen a different plugin similarly named.
Details and coupon codes for our Black Friday sale are at https://theeventscalendar.com/sale-black-friday-2017.

MemberHi there Christy
Did this same thing happen when the site was live? Have you tested the same conditions with a live site?
I looked into your Javascript code and did see errors. Using Your Browser to Diagnose JavaScript Errors can help you see these too.
I believe the errors are because your maintenance mode plugin is blocking the Google Maps API from reaching Google’s servers. However, you may have other Javascript errors to address. I’d start with those.
Please let me know if this helps.
Thanks

MemberHi Storm
https://theeventscalendar.com/apply-for-npp indicates that our approval process can be 2-3 weeks. Often this is much faster, however, with some of our staff being USA based and away for the holiday, I would expect it will be at least early next week to get a response.
Thanks
Courtney 🙂Courtney
MemberYou can apply for our non-profit discount by completing the form at https://theeventscalendar.com/apply-for-npp.
⚠️Please Note: Licenses granted through this program do not include access to support. If you need in-depth support, please consider purchasing a regular license.
The licenses for these will continue to permit renewals, but will not provide support.

MemberHi Joseph
https://wpforms.com/create-a-user-submitted-events-calendar-in-wordpress/ might help you with how to achieve this. It may work for other form plugins as well, but I’m afraid I am not able to help support 3rd party integrations at this time.
We’re limited in helping with styling customizations, per our Scope of Support / Terms. But a few tips to help you carry this further include:
- Start by modifying what you can at Appearance » Customize » The Events Calendar.
- We generally don’t recommend that you change the theme or plugin’s CSS files directly, as they will be overwritten. To avoid this, follow the steps outlined in Themer’s Guide
- Use overriding CSS files, or add CSS to your site using Appearance » Customize » Additional CSS.
- Use !important before a semicolon to override every css rule. It’s a brute force method, but works for quick fixes.
- Please check out this Customizing WordPress #2 – Using Chrome Developers Tools YouTube video in addition to our Using Chrome Developer Tools tutorial on how to easily make changes using CSS.
For advanced layout work, please refer to the Themer’s Guide.
We do offer our own user-submitted events plugin with Community Events. These can automatically publish, or be stored as a draft for your review.

MemberHi Valdis
Please send in your System Info so we can better help you.
Can you start by going through our Testing for Conflicts Guide https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/? I am wondering if you might have a plugin or theme conflict. Begin by deactivating all other plugins, using a theme such as Twenty Seventeen https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyseventeen/, and see if the issue still persists.
Also, double check for any other updates available (Dashboard » Updates).
Please let me know if the issue still persists after these tests.
Thanks

MemberHey there Coleman
I’m so sorry this is happening. We are aware of this upgrade license bug and are working on fixing that.
In the meantime, please send an email to support [at] theeventscalendar [.] com. We’ll happily get that set up for you.
Thanks

MemberHi there Jay
Here’s a look at the settings for our recurring events:

And an article going over the setup:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-recurring-events/
1) We need events to repeat every 1 year or 52 weeks on the same day of the week, do you support this?
Yes!
2) Do we need to put an end date in for the above repetition pattern, or can it be forever?
Don’t fill in an end date, it’ll automatically recur until you end the series
3) If I can repeat forever, is there a performance hit for that?
No, performance hits are for usually for attempting to display a longer time span at once than our defaults, such as 99 events in list view.
4) Can I change/delete a large number of events at the same time? I noticed that I can delete in bulk, but is limited to 20 events at a time. Could I delete all events from the Calendar?
At this time, we don’t have a bulk delete option. However, several WordPress plugins that bulk delete posts will also work with our “Events” as these are considered WordPress Custom Post Types.
5) It would be really good if I could import a file CSV file that would support repeating events. Other calendars do this, but I know your’s doesn’t.
We do support a single instance of a .csv file import. You could create your master events list, and then set up the recurring functionality. Also, Event Aggregator supports importing from sources such as Google Calendar, iCal, etc.
Pricing
1) I know that Pro is required for the repeating events, is there a way to test the features out before purchasing? We don’t have a live demo of the admin side, but you can see the published public side at our demo site: http://wpshindig.com/events
2) Can I purchase 1 month instead of a year to test with? Do you offer refunds if it turns out not to be suitable for our needs?
We do not have a monthly option. We do offer 30 day refunds if you find the plugin does not meet your needs. It’s just a matter of submitting a refund request form at https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/refund-policy/. s

MemberHi there Neil
I’m sorry to do this, but could you log in and post this in the Event Tickets Plus forum? I’m afraid we aren’t able to support technical requests in the pre-sales forums, and if I move the ticket to the correct location, you won’t be notified of responses as you aren’t logged in.
So sorry about that.
Thanks
Courtney 🙂Courtney
MemberHi Joshua
I hate to ask this, but can you re-create this ticket in the Events Calendar Pro forum AFTER logging in? I’m afraid we can’t provide technical support in the pre-sales forum, and if I move your ticket to the correct location, you won’t be notified as this was posted without logging in. So sorry about that.
Thanks

MemberI suspect there is some additional issue beyond any problems introduced by your theme of choice.
Also, your theme is not ‘standards compliant’ – for example, it doesn’t add body classes which a) is a general no-no and b) on a practical level, some of our JS and CSS won’t work as expected as a result.
Are you able to attempt any changes on the live site?
Also, with https://local.getflywheel.com/ you can create a test site on your own computer, not needing hosting credentials for testing purposes.
Thanks

MemberHey Frank
Yes, we have that exact feature in Community Events. As an admin, you can determine if the events publish automatically or are stored as a draft for your review before publishing.
