    Hey there

Because this order is still pending, I am not able to process the refund quite yet. I’ll flag this for review by our billing/purchasing support staff. To be sure, can you also send an email to

    support [at] theeventscalendar [.] com

I’ll be sure that LaToya gets this message.

    Thanks

    Hi there!

Thanks so much for getting in touch! I’m afraid that we’re not equipped to provide technical support for current plugin users here in our pre-sales forum. We’d be more than happy to assist you at one of the following locations:

โ€ข If you’re using one or more of our free plugins such as The Events Calendar and Event Tickets, you can request assistance on the WordPress.org support forum for the affected product.
โ€ข If you’re a current license holder for one of our premium offerings, please log in to your account and submit a post to the appropriate forum for the affected product. Please include your System Info https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/ so we can better help you.

If you can, please take the time to confirm in your post that you’ve run through our Testing for Conflicts steps prior to contacting us–this will save us a step and help us to get your issue resolved that much quicker! ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks again, and we’ll see you in the forums!

It is worth checking that when you go to Events ยป Settings ยป Community ยป Default status for submitted events.

The other areas to resolve will involve accessing the site with admin permissions.

    Hi Matthew,

Were you by chance replying by email? That could explain why your attachment isn’t included. So sorry about that.

I was able to review your account, and do not see a coupon included. However, I was able to get all the way to the checkout page.

Are you still experiencing this issue?

    Thanks

    Hi Steve

It looks like you purchased Events Calendar Pro but did not add Community Events to the cart before checkout.

When you add that to your cart, please use the coupon code “REST10”, based upon https://theeventscalendar.com/sale-black-friday-2017. That should apply the discount for you.

Please let me know if that works for you.

    Thanks

Yes, tech support belongs here, and billing/returns/exchanges in emails.

Without knowing a link to your calendar, I’m a bit limited in looking up the CSS you need specifically. A few tips to help you carry this further include:

    1. Start by modifying what you can at Appearance ยป Customize ยป The Events Calendar.
    2. We generally don’t recommend that you change the theme or plugin’s CSS files directly, as they will be overwritten. To avoid this, follow the steps outlined in Themer’s Guide
    3. Use overriding CSSย files, orย add CSSย to your site using Appearance ยป Customize ยป Additional CSS.
    4. Use !important before a semicolon to override every css rule. Itโ€™s a brute force method, but works for quick fixes.
    5. Please check out this Customizing WordPress #2 โ€“ Using Chrome Developers Tools YouTube video in addition to our Using Chrome Developer Tools tutorial on how to easily make changes using CSS.

If you are able to get started with what I shared and then send in a link to the exact page you need help with, I’d be happy to take another look.

    Thanks

    Hi Daniel

You can achieve that by making a template override. We have a great article that explains how to do it here ยป https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/

In your site, you would make a template override of the edit-event.php template file located at /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar-community-events/src/views/community and comment out or remove the code that calls those fields you want to hide.

Let me know how it goes.

    Thanks

    Hi Barry

We don’t have quite that integration. If you think that is something you would like as a feature I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.

You can suggest it it http://tribe.uservoice.com.

You can view all the features we offer on our demo site: http://wpshindig.com/events.

Is there anything more that I can answer for you?

    Thanks

    Hello Bob

Can you start by going through our Testing for Conflicts Guide https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/?ย  I am wondering if you might have a plugin or theme conflict.ย  Begin by deactivating all other plugins, using a theme such as Twenty Seventeen https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyseventeen/, and see if the issue still persists.

Also, double check for any other updates available (Dashboard ยป Updates).ย

Please let me know if the issue still persists after these tests.

Finally, to better help diagnose any issues, we’ll need to see your System Info before we can proceed.

    Thanks

    Hi Jack

Our demo site does have WooCommerce installed. It is a bit limited though so that we don’t charge users. I would suggest that you test out Event Tickets first on your site. This plugin is a prerequisite to running Event Tickets Plus anyway. It will show you how the free tickets (RSVP) works.

One of our team members has set up his own test site that can give you the demo you are looking for. Please pardon the site speed, etc. though in your tests. It is solely for instances like this.

Please let me know if we can be of further help.

    Thanks
