Main calendar page is not correctly

Hi,

The only way I can get the calendar (month, week, day, list) to display correctly is to use a short code in a page, which to some extent is fine. But when an individual event is opened in the UI, there’s a link for “<< All Events” that takes the user page to the slug page (http://furniturefriends.org/events). The page is clearly not what the calendar should look like (see screenshot). It’s been that way ever since I installed it. My preference is to have the calendar be in its own page anyway, so I can choose the full width and get rid of the Featured Image.

So I guess I’m looking for the following:
Either
1. A way to have “All Events” go back to a page of my choosing.
OR If “All Events” has to go back to the slug page, please tell how to …
(2. … fix that page.
AND
3. .. and format the page to use my own template and get rid of the featured image)
