MemberHey there Robert
Sorry to do this but let’s continue working this issue out on your original thread. Please update your information at https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/making-tickets-not-possible-only-rsvp-is-showing/ so that Jennifer can continue to assist you.
Thanks

MemberHi Jena
I’m sorry that is happening. I haven’t seen this issue come up with others. I’d suggest doing this testing (preferably on a staging site):
Update any plugins/themes/WordPress
Deactivate all plugins
Use a default theme such as Twenty Seventeen https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyseventeen/
Active our plugins in this order:
- The Events Calendar
- Event Tickets
- WooCommerce
- Event Tickets Plus
- Community Events
- Community Event Tickets
Can you let me know if that resolves the issue?
Thanks
Courtney ๐Courtney
MemberHi Michael
Yes, you can achieve this effect. You would create 2 “tickets” within the event. One for each type. Both tickets would then display publicly on the published even.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks

MemberHi there Jing
Yes, The Events Calendar can handle multisite. There is no real integration between the multisite calendar installs though outside of the actual installation/activation process (the calendars don’t integrate beyond that in multisite).
Does that help? Please give it a shot and let us know how it goes.
Thanks

MemberHey Matt
Good catch on Event Aggregator. With this plugin, we cound scheduled imports, not events imported.
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/event-aggregators-import-limits-work/
So for that site, if you hit your limit, just increase the existing license up to the next level. You could stick with one license across most of the sites, and set it to a slower import of just a few times per day per site. Then if you need to go from personal up to business, we can work with you to upgrade that.
Does that make sense?
Thanks

MemberHey there
I’m sorry, I’ve never heard of Xylus Themes. They are not part of our organization.
Yes, Modern Tribe is behind Event Aggregator.
Can you show me where you are seeing Xylus Themes? I’d love to have a screenshot on file.
Thanks

MemberHi Sanjay
Our non-profit application process is a 2-3 week response time, based upon the information on the form directions. I’d expect someone will reach out far sooner, but our main billing staff is based in the USA and celebrating a holiday this week. You should hear from us soon either way.
Thanks

MemberHi there
I’d like to be sure I’m following you on this. I went to https://www.oldtownhotsprings.org/group-exercise-class-calendar/today/ and selected the first event, which took me to https://www.oldtownhotsprings.org/group-exercise-class-calendar/spin-w-bruce/2017-11-22/. Is that what you are seeing as well?
I think what you are hoping for is something more like this: https://www.oldtownhotsprings.org/group-exercise-class-calendar/2017-12-07/. Is that correct? I appended the end date on manually, which you are able to modify as well.
To determine why your site isn’t producing the expected link, you’d need to go through our Testing for Conflicts Guide https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/?ย I am wondering if you might have a plugin or theme conflict.ย
Begin by deactivating all other plugins, using a theme such as Twenty Seventeen https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyseventeen/, and see if the issue still persists.
I am wondering if it has to do with the length of the page title that you renamed “Events” as.
Please let me know if the conflicts test or a manual link works for you.
Thanks

MemberI did discover that we don’t have a good solution for the next 7 days. If you think that is something you would like as a feature I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.
You can suggest it it https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/13822656-shortcode-to-show-upcoming-x-days.
Thanks

MemberHi Vic
You can take a look at what our Events Calendar Pro and more can do on our demo site: http://wpshindig.com/events.
You can use the calendar to display events without tickets.
You can set events to be recurring. https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-recurring-events/ That would include the description, featured image, and you could put the event trailer link in the field “event website url”.
You can display the calendar in month view with the hover pop outs
I believe the “view as” toggle to week and day view could meed most of your needs for the 7 days ahead area. Week view might require users to navigate to the next week.We do offer Calendar View Shortcodes and Widget Shortcodes with Events Calendar Pro. I’m researching further what would be required to create something that is truly the next 7 days vs week view.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks

MemberHello Hassan
I hope I can help. Filter Bar will add the 2nd bar found on http://wpshindig.com/events to your default Events page.
Facebook events imported using Event Aggregator would fill in details like the organizer, location, etc. but would not assign categories or tags. That part would be done manually as you edit posts.
Also upon import (Events ยป Import) you can assign a category that all posts imported from the same source would be assigned to.
Does that help? Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks

MemberHi Harvey
What you are seeing is a typical expected outcome of WordPress posts. Our “Events” are actually a WordPress custom post type, and follow the way WordPress posts would be handled.
The events you have are scheduled to be published in 2018, so they are considered a draft until they are published. There isn’t a good way to have an event in the future be a scheduled post.
That said, you are able to publish future events, but do not need to schedule them. Whatever date you have as the event date does not need to be the date that the post is published. You can publish a post now for any date in the future. Scheduling would instead cause the event to not be publicly viewable until that date. Does that make sense?
Let me know if this resolves the issue for you.
Thanks
