Hi. Sorry you’re experiencing this known bug.

I marked this thread as Pending Fix, which means it should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.

I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.

In the meantime, you might want to try hard-coded fix:

    • /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar-filterbar/src/Tribe/Filters/Time_Of_Day.php
    • Line 39 starts with `$this->joinClause .= INNER JOIN`
    • Change the INNER to LEFT
    • See if that makes things work for you

Note that such a fix (if it fixes it for you) would be overwritten anytime you update your Filter Bar plugin.

Please let me know how this goes for you if you do decide to try it.

I don’t see “get_cart_url” in the .zip you shared.

get_cart_url() was deprecated since WooCommerce version 2.5 and wc_get_cart_url() should be used instead.

Please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG (which will create a file on your server at /wp-content/debug.log if there are any WP_DEBUG messages) and share any debug messages you see while trying to replicate this issue.

The debug report should tell you the file and line number that is throwing the error. Please let me know what you find out.

Gotcha. Sorry I misunderstood what you were wanting.

    Please search for “locate_stylesheet” in:

    • /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar-filterbar/src/Tribe/View.php
    • /wp-content/plugins/event-tickets/src/Tribe/RSVP.php
    • /wp-content/plugins/event-tickets-plus/src/Tribe/Commerce/WooCommerce/Main.php

If this isn’t enough flexibility for you, please let me know and I can look into this further with our developers.

Please let me know how this goes for you.

I’m unsure. You might try playing with this setting: wp-admin > Events > Settings > Display tab > “Events template” option — to see if changing it makes things work better for you.

If that doesn’t work, I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:

There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?

Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.

If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Seventeen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.

Of course, we always recommend restorable database and file backups as well as performing modifications first on a staging site before modifying anything on your site.

If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG (which will create a file on your server at /wp-content/debug.log if there are any WP_DEBUG messages) and share any debug messages you see while trying to replicate this issue and doing other things on your site relevant to this ticket (such as visiting your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and anything else you can think to do).

Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode) in a Private Reply. That will give me a lot of extra information to help troubleshoot this.

You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)

Let us know what you find out.

    Thanks!

    Great, thanks for that.

Hi, Kat. This should work as you’re wanting, and I don’t see any outstanding known bugs where it wouldn’t be working.

Does it work if you run it as a one-time import instead of a scheduled import? (Even if you just test one-time importing a single event, not the whole calendar.)

Depending on your findings, could you please send me a link to iCalendar URL that you’re importing via Event Aggregator so I can try it on my own site?

Hi, Mike. Same answer for Event Tickets and Plus as you asked for Filter Bar: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/where-do-are-the-custom-css-files-for-the-filter-bar-located/

If you have follow-up questions for either of these two plugins, let me know in that other thread.

    Thanks.

Hi, Mike. Thanks for your detailed request.

Filter Bar doesn’t load a separate CSS file, but you can add custom CSS a variety of generic ways on your site:

You can add custom CSS code via your child theme’s style.css file, via WordPress 4.7’s Customizer CSS settings, or via a third-party plugin (not guaranteed or supported by us), like:

    • SiteOrigin CSS (helps you visually build CSS selectors via its Inspector and Visual Editor, if that’ll help you)
    • Simple Custom CSS
    • Jetpack (supports regular CSS and the LESS and Sass pre-processors)

If you’re not a CSS expert, Jetpack’s Custom Design reference may prove helpful.

Please let me know how it goes for you.

    Hi, Rowan.

Event Tickets Plus (ET+) is our paid add-on plugin that upgrades the functionality of our free Event Tickets (ET) plugin.

Event Tickets Plus enables you to sell tickets via one of our supported eCommerce platforms. The free plugin only enables free RSVP-type tickets.

You can view our roundup/comparison of all the eCommerce plugins ET+ supports.

Our plugin uses your eCommerce plugin of choice, but your eCommerce plugin isn’t displayed for shopping pages. Please reference our Making Tickets KB article (screenshots are from an install using WooCommerce) for an idea how to create tickets for an event.

Site visitors would purchase tickets from each event’s single page/view (e.g. http://wpshindig.com/event/events-tickets-demo/) — if there is an RSVP to submit or ticket to purchase.

The order confirmation email will include a QR code that can be scanned to “check in” someone at the door at the time of the event. It could be displayed on their mobile device or they could print it like any other email. You can read more at Tickets: Managing your orders and attendees.

You could also Display a List of Attendee’s Events.

If your tickets will be free, you don’t need QR code check-in, and you don’t need to collect additional information other than name and email address, you likely could just use the free/core Event Tickets plugin.

To answer your specific question, we do not currently support a single ticket that applies to multiple events. Additionally, we do not support a “booking calendar” sort of setup, but you could request one or both of these as a new feature (or maybe search to see if the idea was already posted by someone else) at our plugins’ UserVoice page.

This allows others who are interested in that feature to easily voice their support. We frequently review suggestions there to find out which ones are popular, then we implement as many of them as we can.

If you post it / find it, feel free to link to it from here in case anyone comes across this forum thread in the future.

Last but not least, we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.

I hope this info helps. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

Event Tickets Plus uses WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads to sell tickets. Therefore, you’d need the payment gateway that supports Wirecard or Stripe.

“automatic mail to attendees two or three days after an event” is not yet possible but is a big project we’re working on. For now, please reference the following:

Other than these, I think 100% yes.

For ratings, there are a bunch of choices on WordPress.org but I don’t personally have a recommendation. However, I do know the author of https://wordpress.org/plugins/rating-widget/, although I haven’t used it personally and Modern Tribe doesn’t guarantee compatibility with third-party plugins. Since it’s called “widget” this extension might come in handy: https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/calendar-widget-areas/

And, yes, we have many, many action and filter hooks:

Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

Hi. Sorry you’re experiencing this known bug.

Its fix is scheduled to be released soon. Please note, however, that once the fix is released, you’ll need to re-save events to re-generate the recurrences.

I marked this thread as Pending Fix, which means it should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands at this time.

I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.
