Just FYI: I updated the gist’s code just now to include Venues/Organizers of all Post Statuses (not just Published).

First, your posts_per_page should be -1 to be unlimited.

Second, I went beyond our normal support and created this shortcode for you. I tested and it worked for me, but it’s not guaranteed and you should use at your own risk:

    https://gist.github.com/cliffordp/b9cde5ad57eecefca3bcd578fc5e6a61

(Of course, we always recommend restorable database and file backups before modifying anything on your site.)

Please let me know how this goes for you.

Dan, thanks for your troubleshooting efforts here.

    I’m guessing you’re using this plugin: https://codecanyon.net/item/go-pricing-wordpress-responsive-pricing-tables/3725820?

If yes, please provide me a copy of the latest version and I’ll see if I can replicate this conflict behavior.

I looked and it’s not distorted for me on my desktop: https://cl.ly/262w2s1V0X2n

Maybe you’re looking at it in a different browser width?

The image being displayed is actually full size, but it’s limited by width: 100% (which is typically a good thing).

If you share an annotated screenshot or video screen capture, it might help communicate what you’re seeing and what exactly the issue is.

I’ve not heard of that theme or plugin before. Could you please provide a copy of the latest versions of both the theme and the plugin and I’ll give them a quick run-through on my testing site and see if I can replicate the issue and then track down what’s conflicting?

The customer from that other thread I initially linked you to kindly shared what he came up with for his team’s step-by-step documentation. I’d suggest giving that a look since what I’ve shared thus far hasn’t been too helpful to you.

We do not have a specific QR scanner recommendation, but most customers use their smartphone with an app (I’ve heard only good things about http://www.quickmark.com.tw/). That company also has a Chrome extension so you could scan people in with your computer’s webcam I think. https://webqr.com/ also exists for that use case.

Yes, you can have as many people scanning at the same time as you’d like (e.g. 5 scanning at once if there are 5 entrance doors to your facility). However, each one will require a reload of the wp-admin page so it’s possible this page may be busy or take a while to load if everyone’s hitting it at the same time. You’d just have to test this with your server, but I’d guess WordPress should handle it gracefully (i.e. hopefully still work even under high load if your server is powerful enough and setup correctly).

Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

I understand that transaction failed. Thank you for pointing that out to me.

To be clear, please confirm that log is from when you had “Per-ticket fee type” option set to “None”? Or did you maybe have it set to “Percentage” with “Fee percentage” set to “blank”? Or a different setting?

Brad, thank you so much for your documenting your process. I apologize for it being difficult for you and others to get a grasp on the process.

I’ve requested of our Knowledgebase team to add new documentation around scanning QR codes.

Also, regarding the “check out” functionality you mentioned, this isn’t the way this functionality is designed. Therefore, you might want to request this as a new feature (or maybe search to see if the idea was already posted by someone else) at our plugins’ UserVoice page.

This allows others who are interested in that feature to easily voice their support. We frequently review suggestions there to find out which ones are popular, then we implement as many of them as we can.

If you post it / find it, feel free to link to it from here in case anyone comes across this forum thread in the future.

Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

    Sorry to hear that, Francesco.

Per our Scope of Support / Terms, we do not guarantee support with any themes. However, we know customers who use many, many themes that do not conflict with our plugins.

Thank you very much for your understanding.

One thing that may help is if you provide a link to your site and describe in your own words what the issues are (even including an annotated screenshot or video screen capture), it might help communicate what you’re seeing and what exactly the issue is.

Then, also provide me a copy of the theme to install on my local test site and I might be able to see what is causing the issues that you need help with.

If I’m understanding you correctly, you’re using The Events Calendar but not using Event Tickets / Event Tickets Plus.

In that case, please describe where you’d like each Event’s “buy” button to go. For example, is there a single link for all of them to go to, or is the link different per event? If different per event, do you input each event’s ticket purchase link as a custom field?

Dan, I am sorry to hear your experience with our products hasn’t been smooth.

Since I wasn’t able to replicate this issue, I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:

There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?

Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.

If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Sixteen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.

If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.

Then, please re-share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode). That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.

You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)

Let us know what you find out.

    Thanks.

    Dan and Oliver:

As stated in my previous reply, it is a confirmed bug that is expected to be fixed in the next update.

    Sorry for that confusion.

iCal Importer runs entirely on your server. Event Aggregator (EA) is more of a service in that it does the heavy lifting on our servers, which is why it requires an active license at all times.

iCal Importer won’t be getting any new updates so you essentially have the code that you could run forever on your site. However, if you experience a bug with it, we won’t be able to provide support for it.

EA imports more than just iCal files. It can also import Facebook, Meetup, and will continue improving over time.

I hope this clears things up for you.

Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.
