I’m trying to have my community tickets setup that people who create the even get 100% of the ticket price.
When I select the fee as None as per -> http://prntscr.com/eabr88 – everything works well except the site admin gets the full ticket price. I assume then they are expected to distribute this out to the event holder.
I thought that event creators could enter their email here -> http://prntscr.com/eabrtj and if I selected “NONE” as above in backend; the user would get 100% in the email they specified.
It appears even when I have selected to receive no fee and also user has specified their email; the admin payapl STILL gets the full fee.
I then proceeded to set up split payments i.e. 100% event creator, 0% admin.
I followed all steps and sandbox doesn’t work – an error appears -> http://prntscr.com/eabsqg
These were the details added in the sandbox area -> http://prntscr.com/eabqwk
I have also disabled all plugins etc. to check for conflicts; it is not this.
I HAVE FOLLOWED ALL GUIDELINE AND CHECKED ALL FORUM RESPONSES and they have not helped so please do not direct me to one of these.
I am adding my login details to both WP and Paypal in a private note below.
——————
1. Please confirm if I need to setup payments split to achive what I want (i.e. 100% fees to go to event creater email stated here: http://prntscr.com/eabtnp)
2. If I need to used split payments (100% creater, 0% admin) it is not working so please check as all details are correct. In the interest of efficiency; please take the above into account.
Thanks,

Thanks for your detailed question.
Would you please add the following code snippet to your site, try to process a payment again, and then share the log file’s results?

This will give us a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.
Thank you.

February 22, 2017 at 8:02 pm #1244272CliffMemberI understand that transaction failed. Thank you for pointing that out to me.
To be clear, please confirm that log is from when you had “Per-ticket fee type” option set to “None”? Or did you maybe have it set to “Percentage” with “Fee percentage” set to “blank”? Or a different setting?
February 23, 2017 at 10:50 am #1244738ColmParticipantThis was when set as per the log, 20%. Let’s try get everything working in the first instance then we can worry about the fees! It’s not working regardless of percentage set. Thanks.
February 23, 2017 at 1:59 pm #1244852CliffMemberGotcha. Thanks for clarifying.
I did see “Account not found” multiple times in that log file. Are both the facilitator and the receiver email addresses actually valid PayPal accounts and setup properly?
Additional considerations:
- If you’re in sandbox mode, you need to use sandbox accounts; you cannot mix one sandbox account with one live account.
- Unless you’ve been explicitly approved by PayPal to use split/adaptive payments, transactions will fail outside of sandbox mode.
Please let me know what you find out in regards to your PayPal account(s).
