    Hi, Nabil.

Those past events would be visible by clicking the “Previous Events” link at the bottom of the events view.

You could also link to viewing past events by visiting yoursite-com/events/past/

Finally, please understand that we reply to threads in the order they were received and bumping threads doesn’t speed up the replies. Our Scope of Support / Terms details our expected response time period.

Hi, Hillel. Sorry you’re experiencing this.

Could you please provide a screenshot of how you’re trying to use this in your wp-admin import screen and also provide the link you’re trying to import?

Hi, Tara. Sorry you’re experiencing this.

This isn’t currently a known issue so I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:

There might be some new updates available. Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?

Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you.

If it is, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Seventeen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.

Of course, we always recommend restorable database and file backups before modifying anything on your site.

If it doesn’t, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG (which will create a file on your server at /wp-content/debug.log if there are any WP_DEBUG messages) and share any debug messages you see while trying to replicate this issue and doing other things on your site relevant to this ticket (such as visiting your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and anything else you can think to do).

Then, please share your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode) in a Private Reply. That will give me a lot of extra information to help troubleshoot this.

You might also see if you can spot any console errors at your site. (If needed, you may reference our KB article Using Google Chrome Developer Tools.)

Let us know what you find out.

    Thanks.

Hi. Please check out https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar-category-colors/ (third-party, not guaranteed or supported by us), and let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

If it doesn’t work for Photo View, you could use CSS to target each category. To do so, go to a category page and then a CSS selector like this might work:

    body.post-type-archive-tribe_events.events-category-your-category-slug

Please let me know how this goes for you.

    Hi, Scott.

Correct. I believe you’re requesting the same thing as one of our existing feature requests: https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/17840326-make-filter-bar-compatible-with-shortcoded-calenda

Please do add your vote there.

This allows us to gauge interest in this particular feature request, which helps us prioritize our development efforts.

You could, however, just use the built-in URLs like yoursite-com/events/category/your-category/photo/ and then the Filter Bar filters will appear there.

You could also use Filter Bar to generate a specific URL for multiple categories.

Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

    Thanks for your effort there.

In a Private Reply (which cannot be done via email), could you please provide a .zip of the latest version of that payment gateway, along with any special instructions or credentials for this specific gateway, so that our development team can take a look first-hand on their own testing site?

    Thank you.

I’m glad to hear that you cleared up the customization you had in place that caused the issue.

    Have a great week!

in reply to: How can I send _EventStartDate to GravityForms? #1345163

Hi. My first thought was that the leading underscore in the custom field name would cause Gravity Forms to not see the hidden field. However, their old support forums said their plugin can see the fields that get hidden from the wp-admin custom field metabox.

Therefore, this support thread — https://www.gravityhelp.com/forums/topic/existing-custom-fields-not-being-recognized — might have the best advice: just manually create/enter the custom field name and then try out the form and everything should work as expected.

However, our plugin stores datetime data in a very specific format, so make sure that Gravity Forms is saving data in the format our plugin requires to work properly.

If you’re asking about Gravity Forms because you’re wanting front-end event submissions, we sell Community Events, which would make Gravity Forms unneeded (at least for this purpose).

Last but not least, we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.

I hope this info helps. Let me know if you have any follow-up questions.

Julia, thanks for the detailed replies.

    1) Regarding https://www.screencast.com/t/QJYco3GzMWU, why do you have that <script> on that page?

    2) If you remove that script, does the console error go away?

in reply to: Using Zapier to feed twitter – no event date field? #1345152

Jeff, Zapier doesn’t support WordPress custom fields, other than Advanced Custom Fields, per https://zapier.com/help/wordpress/#custom-field-support

Therefore, maybe Zapier isn’t the best solution for what you’re trying to accomplish.

Maybe a WordPress plugin that posts to Buffer, Twitter, and/or Facebook, et. al. would be more appropriate.

The BNFW plugin might be helpful. Here’s a post to how others are using it: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/email-2/#post-1273844

It’s how-to might be helpful for how other plugins possibly do what you’re needing. However, I don’t know of a plugin that does this out of the box that also posts at a specified future date and time. Therefore, it might also involve some custom code to make it work.

Again, native functionality is expected to come eventually, but not soon.

If you do need some custom coding assistance, I might be able to help there, but I can’t guarantee that I’ll be able to.
