    Hi Eugenio,

Unfortunately, due to recent changes announced by Facebook, there are now severe restrictions on what we can import from that platform. We have tried to email as many affected customers as possible about this and have also made the following resources available:

In all other regards Event Aggregator remains fully functional and you will still be able to import from Google Calendar, Meetup and iCal sources. In fact, in some cases – as detailed in the above knowledgebase article – you may still be able to import events from Facebook, but this has certainly become more limited than it was previously.

The reality is that this is largely out of our hands, though we’re continuing to monitor and will adapt as best we can so we can continue to provide you with a meaningful import capability.

    Thanks,
    Brendan

    Hi Tracy,

Yes, so say someone shows up on day 1 and you check them in. There is no option to check them in for day 2 or day 3 unless you go into your admin section of your website and remove the check-in after the event is over on day 1. Then on day 2 the check in will be available again and you would repeat this same process for each day.

    Thanks,
    Brendan

    Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out and considering our products. PRO will allow multiple day events and if the events are free, you can use Event Tickets. If you plan on charging you will need the Event Tickets Plus plugin. You can have multiple day events however the checkin only works for when they initially get there. Depending on the size of the event you could remove the attendee check-in at the end of each day but that would require some manual work and if they events have a lot of attendees, would be cumbersome but its an option to think about.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Thanks,
    Brendan

    Hi there,

Thanks so much for reaching out again!

You can add the following snippet to your theme’s functions.php file in order to make the Organizer field required.  This snippet makes the Organizer name, email, and phone number required, so you can alter it to suit your needs.

I hope this helps, let me know how it goes!

    Thanks,

    Hi there,

Thanks for emailing support and sorry you having issues. It appears the captcha isn’t causing an error since it needs a key to function.

Go to Events → Settings → APIs and setup the recaptcha key by clicking the link and following the instructions there.

Once that is setup, try again and let me know if it works.

    Thanks,
    Brendan

    Hi there,

You could also use a plugin like Health Check to do this testing.

We also just released new versions of The Events Calendar (4.6.20.1) and Events Calendar Pro (4.4.29.2), so I would also recommend updating to the current versions to see if you’re still running into this there. If you don’t see a prompt to update in the Plugins section of your Dashboard, you can do so manually by following these instructions.

Providing SQL queries is not something we are typically able to do here in the forums, but please let me know what you find with the steps above…if needed, I can add this thread to a queue for one of our developers to circle back on and try to help you out with deleting it in the database.

    Thanks,
    Brendan

    Hi there,

Thanks for emailing support and sorry for the delay. We had an influx of tickets. Looking at this, I see it is working as expected. In the dropdown I see Streatham but I do not see this pre-selected. If you click in the organizer field and start typing you will see you can create a new organizer.

Let me know if that works for you.

    Thanks,
    Brendan

    Hi there,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Yes, when the user is required to register first, they are a registered user with a username and password in your wordpress site. This allows them to log into their account to see previous or current orders/events. Woocommerce gives them added functionality as well and is used by many clients. In fact, you must have either Woocommerce, Tribecommerce, or Easy Digital Downloads installed when using Events Tickets Plus.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Thanks,
    Brendan

    Hi Adnan,

Yes, you can setup automatic imports on a specified time frame (ie daily, weekly, hourly, etc).

You just need a valid RSS or ical url. For sites that already run Events Calendar you can find those URL’s at:

    • An RSS feed that is located at [your-site]/events/feed
    • An iCal feed that is located at [your-site]/events/ical

Both could be used to populate calendars on other sites. It’s worth noting that the feeds do not push the content to the sites, but the sites will need a method for fetching that content — whether that is automated or manual.

Hopefully this helps answer your question better than my last attempt.

    Cheers!

    Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out and considering our products!

You are correct, you will export the ics file from each of those sites at the bottom of the event calendar and then import them into your new site with the Event Aggregator.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Thanks,
    Brendan

    Hi there,

    Thanks for emailing support!

Unfortunately we do not have role based pricing. However you can check out Woocommere plugins that may offer this feature for role based pricing and also enable certain products for guest checkout. In regards to password protect events for users only, most customers in this same situation will use User Role Editor or some type of membership plugin to add this type of functionality.

Keep in mind these would all be 3rd party plugins/extensions and not supported by us.

    Thanks,
    Brendan

    Hi there,

Thanks for emailing support and sorry for the delay. We have had an influx of tickets.

In regards to your issue, when you go to Events > Settings are you able to tell me what the timezone settings are set to there?

I did export an event but the timezone doesn’t validate in the ics file so something is corrupted.

Also, to get you started on troubleshooting: First, please make sure you are using the most current versions of all of our plugins. You can also try reinstalling them by following these instructions. If that doesn’t help, the next step in troubleshooting this is going to be testing for conflicts with your theme and other plugins (with WP_DEBUG enabled). If you need a testing environment, the free WP Staging plugin will let you create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing.

Let me know what you find.

    Thanks,
    Brendan
