MemberOK – so your start and end sale dates are both set to the same day later in the month. For that reason they will not appear until that date – if you want them to be available for sale now you should set the start sale date/time to the current time (or yesterday, to be safe).
Does that help?
Barry
MemberSorry for the inconvenience – looks like there was an extra character at the end of the last URL I pasted – my fault. The correct URL for the paste is:
Barry
MemberSure – I’m mindful though that you need to go live this week – and I just wanted you to know that realistically it may not be fixed until our next maintenance release is issued.
Barry
MemberIt’s always worth making a full and complete backup – and of course making yourself aware of how to restore that backup – first of all. But essentially, if you have FTP access, you should be able to simply ‘overwrite’ the existing plugin code (especially as in this case we’re dealing with potentially missing files).
Alternatively you could upload the fresh copy to a folder named something like ‘new-the-events-calendar’ and then once that job is complete (you could verify that the missing files are present first of all) delete the old plugin directory and rename your new one to take its place.

MemberGreat to hear 🙂

MemberWould this snippet work as a solution for that issue?
Barry
MemberWell, if the header image appears only when you have allocated a featured image that is going to be a challenging issue since The Events Calendar makes use of ‘virtual pages’.
We could probably put together some code that would call another function when and only when a page relating to The Events Calendar is being displayed – if your theme vendor was then able to provide some code to designate the image used for the theme header we might be able to arrive at a solution for this.

MemberI’m not sure where that particular company is based or indeed where their data centre is located / what the default timezone might be. Would it be possible for you to connect with them and enquire?
Barry
MemberOK, and does turning off all non-Modern Tribe plugins and switching to a default, unmodified theme help with this (or at least bring it into line with the problems reported by others)?
Barry
MemberHi siegfriedgeryl – are you still using our plugin or have you switched to All in One Events Calendar? I took a look at your site (I think unfortunately a hyphen may have dropped from the URL you provided so I’m not absolutely sure if it is your site or not) and it seems like perhaps you have switched plugin.
Barry
MemberThat’s strange and isn’t something I can replicate. Have you tried deactivating other plugins and switching to a default, unmodified theme (such as Twenty Twelve)? If so did that resolve the problem and were you able to isolate this to a specific component – such as a plugin or your theme – that was conflicting?

MemberHi Misha,
There are a number of options out there including WP Super Cache and W3 Total Cache plus others – exactly which is going to be the best fit for you I can’t really say though – it might be worth trying out a couple and seeing which you find easiest to work with 🙂
Barry
MemberHi Andrew/Misha – I’m not completely clear as to which menu you mean: can you be a little more specific and perhaps even illustrate by means of a screenshot (you can drop links in to images hosted on Droplr or Dropbox, for instance).
Thanks!

MemberHi Steev,
In some cases they may be needed – it depends on what’s already in the file (or indeed if there is an existing functions.php file already, which may not be the case in child themes especially) and where you add the code – so it’s not a completely cut and dry scenario.
Added to which, Gist has become a popular way of sharing code – but it does not highlight things correctly with regards to PHP code without the opening tag and so our developer chose to include it.
Apologies for any confusion!
