    Hi @dimaginet,

The first event I could find without a map was this one:

    http://www.enmedellin.co/eventos/convocatoria-live-sessions-2

Though it is currently associated with a venue (Medellin) that venue does not appear to have an address associated with it. Is it possible you forgot to populate that information and could that be the problem for the other events that do not have maps?

…Remember also that, since The Events Calendar is completely free, you can download it and test it out at no cost πŸ™‚

Hi there, Tim – thanks for taking the time to look at our plugins πŸ™‚

By default, The Events Calendar (which is completely free) will generate a range of views such as this one from our demo site, however you certainly don’t need to link to these views.

In other words, you can simply ignore them if they are of no interest/don’t serve any purpose in your particular use case.

I would like to bulk upload the years posts or events via csv file and to have them reoccurring for dates in the future.

CSV import is indeed included as part of The Events Calendar. You can read more about this feature over here:

    theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/importing-data-from-a-csv-file

However, it is not currently possible to import recurring events this way and indeed recurrence is a feature of our premium plugin, Events Calendar PRO.

I hope that answers your questions, but do let me know if I can clarify anything else.

    Hi @jlbworks,

    I apologize for any inconvenience.

While we do have an automated workflow that closes inactive topics after three weeks, there is no problem resuming the conversation from a fresh topic – as you have done. Our intent is not to frustrate you, but to help us better manage our delivery of support.

It’s unfortunate that Jennifer’s initial response to you didn’t save – however we are investing in and hope to switch to a new platform shortly that will resolve many problems of this kind.

To the problem at hand: it looks like you are running the latest versions of both The Events Calendar and Eventbrite Tickets, which is great. As a first step can you navigate to the Events β€£ Settings β€£ Imports screen, locate the Import Process System setting and change it either from Asynchronous to Cron-Based, or vice versa, then try again?

In many cases this newly introduced option has helped to alleviate problems and is well worth a try.

YOU The Events Calendar log in to the website dashboard and cpanel and figure out what is wrong with the connection / authentication with this process.

Thanks for taking the time to create and share those credentials – but let’s keep them in reserve for the time being.

While there are occasions where we will login to a customer website, it is our general policy to avoid doing so wherever possible.

    Hi Marcial,

Something I notice in your tooltip.php code is the way you are setting up $startTime:

    $startTime = tribe_get_start_time(null,'H:i')

    Try changing this to:

    $startTime = tribe_get_start_time( $post->ID, 'H:i' )

You can’t reply on the global post ID in this situation. That get you any closer?

    Hi Jennifer,

Your frustration is completely understandable, but we’d love to retain you as a customer if we can.

The team have a plan to resolve this, but it’s going to take a while longer to roll out. I can’t say how long exactly … and, as you’re aware, it’s already taken longer than we generally aim for to bring resolution to this problem. However, we are hopeful that over the course of the next couple of maintenance releases we’ll be able to bring some effective changes to bear.

That to say, we’re looking at a timeline of less than 2 months to get some positive adjustments in place, however, do understand that that is a best estimate and not a guarantee.

I hope that updates your picture of things, but please do let us know if you have any further questions.

I’m afraid not: it’s logged and waiting on further attention. The relevant piece of text is in the language catalogue (.pot file) and is translatable, though – it seems only to be a problem when working directly with translations on a GlotPress site.

We realize that isn’t ideal and we’re working on it, but we’re going to need a little time – realistically it is unlikely we can do much about this in the short-term, as we need to prioritize more critical pieces of work.

    Hi!

Can you please share with me the settings I should have for the WPBAKERY plugin?

I’m afraid we cannot. This is not a plugin that we authored or that we are particularly familiar with.

It seemed like we were on the right track with regards to there being a theme conflict: were you able to reach out to their team? What did they tell you?

I just did an update and here’s the error I received. See screenshot below?

I strongly doubt those particular MySQL/MySQLi errors relate to our plugins or any other plugins/themes on your site. What you are seeing there is in all probability a temporary hosting issue … if it continues to crop up, definitely reach out to your host as it sounds like WordPress was having difficulties staying connected to your database.

Hmm, doesn’t help a great deal, as this is not a generally reproducible problem (we can’t replicate on our side and we’d expect far more reports along similar lines, were this impacting most of our users).

the recaptcha is disabled, still the same issue

    http://yorktonevents.staging.wpengine.com/events/community/add

OK, but I still see the Captcha (albeit, it isn’t functional):

I’m worried this is distorting our picture of things. Within the staging site can you visit Events β€£ Settings β€£ APIs β€£ reCAPTCHA API Keys and ensure the site key and secret key have been completely removed?

With that done, we should no longer see the Captcha or an invalid domain error and we can continue with our testing πŸ™‚

    Alex,

Our developers followed up with what may be a useful interim solution.

If you upload and activate force-iframe to your site, it should force the iframe to always display. While not a perfect solution, it may tide you over (and should mitigate the potential for lost sales/sign-ups) while we work on a substantive solution.

Thanks again for your patience πŸ™‚
