I’m still not sure why this problem is occurring (the string is translatable and, as above, was included in the .pot file) so it’s possible the problem is with GlotPress … however, I’m waiting on some feedback before taking this any further.

BarryMemberOK – and can you disable ReCaptcha on the staging site so we can look at things there?
BarryMemberWe’re really sorry for the inconvenience. We’ve logged a bug ticket and have linked it to this topic (so we can update you once we’ve made some progress).
BarryMemberThanks, Josh — do let us know if we can help with anything else.
BarryMemberGlad we could 🙂
BarryMemberI do have a staging site, but I am unable to recreate it there because the recapcha is invalid so i am unable to submit the form.
Can you disable recaptcha?
As a sidebar, if you (temporarily) disable recaptcha on your production site, does that allow the submission of events?

http://www.businessfactorynt.co.uk/event/linkedin-workshop-15/That’s odd indeed. Right now, I can see tickets for the second of those but not the first.
Are you comfortable sharing a database dump to help us examine things in greater detail? There are a few ways to do this, but one is to use the Duplicator plugin (and share the resulting file via Google Drive, Dropbox or some similar service).
September 10, 2018 at 11:05 am in reply to: Eventbrite ticket Information no longer showing / cannot import events #1617780BarryMemberOn that last point (images not being imported): there is a known bug which is resolved by adding an Event Aggregator license key.
I see that you have such a key associated with your account; can you confirm if you’ve added it to your settings? If you did, mind linking me to one of the relevant events (and the matching event on eventbrite.com/.co.uk)?
Thanks!
BarryMemberHi Jo,
Quick note first of all that (possibly because you replied by email) some images and other parts of your message seems to have been stripped from your last reply.
At any rate, I’m not too sure though on looking at your site today I don’t see the problem with the more link (all widget links seem to go to the right place) and I would also note it does still look like a customization of some sort is in place.
Do you need further help with this? If so, would you be able to login and reply directly on the forum (to help avoid losing any information from your reply)? Thanks!
September 7, 2018 at 8:06 am in reply to: Redirecting Links in Calendar – Code Snippet Goes Where? #1616232BarryMemberHi!
Modifying plugins like The Events Calendar or Events Calendar PRO directly is generally not a great idea: your changes would be lost when you next update and it would potentially make it harder for us to assist you in the future.
For those reasons, adding the code to a custom plugin is the best and safest approach though, as noted, it’s also a common practice and many people find it easier to add code to their theme (or child theme’s) functions.php file.
There are also various plugins out there you can use to add PHP code visually, through the dashboard. I don’t have any particular recommendations to make in that direction – but they could be another option for you 🙂
I hope that helps!
BarryMemberHow much time would you say would be enough to wait for the cache to complete clear?
If you followed all steps to clear the cache, then disabled the caching plugin itself (I’m not completely sure if you did this or not) I’d expect things to clean up pretty quickly.
It’s really odd that you’re still hitting this, if so. By any chance to you have a staging or testing site that replicates this one? Does the same problem happen there if so?
If you do (or if you can create one), and if the problem can be reproduced there, would it be possible to deactivate all other plugins and switch to a default theme in that environment then provide a URL so we can see the problem under clean, ‘default’ conditions?
If that’s not possible for any reason, please just let me know and we can think about other options.
BarryMemberHappy to help 🙂
September 6, 2018 at 3:23 pm in reply to: Help! Many events I upload are in error. These events show lots of 'code'? #1615775BarryMemberSorry for any confusion: the next step is to reach out to the team over at Eventica.
The theme does indeed seem to be designed to work with our plugins, however it looks like their code needs to be updated for continued compatibility.
BarryMemberHi Mike!
Thanks for your interest in our plugins 🙂
Recurring event functionality currently works that way under the hood (there is a parent event, then each subsequent event is a child post). However, that’s an implementation detail and it may not always work quite that way.
If you mean in more general terms, can you basically nest sub-events under a single main event, I’m afraid the answer is no: we don’t currently support this.
Our plugins are built with extensibility in mind, though, so it could very well be the case that you could build something like this as a custom feature.
I hope that answers your question, but do let me know if there are any other details you might need.
