ParticipantHi
My issue with tags seems slightly different than others I’ve seen on the forum. In fact, I think I am having the opposite problem as this person.
I am showing event tags under details on all event pages. Clicking on any tag links takes me to mysite.org/events/tag/mytag which shows nothing.
However, editing the url to be mysite.org/tag/mytag will provide results from the tag, but in a wordpress post format as opposed to the tribe events list format. Clicking the title of the post will take you to the event.
Any ideas of how to deal with this? We’d like to be using tag for user to find like content.
Thanks!August 8, 2013 at 4:10 pm #59589Barry
MemberHi!
We are currently working on the tag issue but that’s a new permutation that I don’t believe has been reported before … I did take a look at your site (looks fantastic by the way) but couldn’t locate the tag cloud – would you be able to point me in the right direction there?
Can you also tell me if your WordPress Reading settings are set to show a static front page (may not be relevant, but it could be based on some other oddities some users have reported)?
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Barry,
Thanks for the help. We are actually using a tag cloud, but in the event details we are listing event tags for users to find similar films. So tags are listed at the end of the events under details.
Currently only events in the film festival archive are tagged, since the links to tag pages aren’t really working.
Here’s an example. In our reading setting we are set to show “Your latest posts” not a static page.
Thanks again for the help!

MemberOK, and does turning off all non-Modern Tribe plugins and switching to a default, unmodified theme help with this (or at least bring it into line with the problems reported by others)?

ParticipantHi Barry and Rob,
Thanks for following up!
Let me see if I can set up a testing environment for this site and see about how it works with the default theme, sans plugins. Right now the site is live. So, I don’t want mess with the theme on the lice site. I’ll report back.August 29, 2013 at 4:13 pm #63739Rob
