Calendar View taking forever to load

Hello Forums.
We are having a heck of a time getting the calendar views to load in a resonable amount of time. The hourglass just sits there and spins. Does anyone have suggestions about improving this? We have updated the plugins to most recent versions and are on WP 3.5.2

We’re actively working on improvements that should help with the overall performance of month view in particular – in the interim though have you considered setting up a caching plugin?

Hi Barry. Thanks for the suggestion about a caching plugin. Is there a particular one that you can recommend that works well with The Events Calendar.

Hi Misha,

There are a number of options out there including WP Super Cache and W3 Total Cache plus others – exactly which is going to be the best fit for you I can’t really say though – it might be worth trying out a couple and seeing which you find easiest to work with 🙂
