ParticipantI would like the month view page to have a header image like every other page on our site. Cannot figure this out. Also, is there a way to rearrange the days of the week to have Sunday begin at the left – like traditinal calendars?
It’s been 3 days and still no response from support … ??August 9, 2013 at 6:15 am #59670Barry
MemberHi javadmin – sorry for the delay, we have been slower than normal recently as we deal with a larger than normal volume of requests.
In the first instance can I ask you to visit Events > Settings > Display and see if you are using the Default Events Template or Default Page Template … can you try toggling between these to see if one is a “better fit” for you here?

ParticipantHi Barry,
Changing the page template was the very first thing I tried. Currently, I have it set to “default page template”, but have tried every single page template available in the list in hopes that something would work out, however, it did not change anything. The template I’m using for the website allows me to add a featured image on pages, which actually show up as a header image…the calendar page (no matter which template I choose in “display”) does not. There isn’t even an edit option in the WP admin bar as in every other page I’m able to create. Also noteable, another plugin I’m using, for a store locater, doesn’t have this problem…so I’m pretty hesitant to think it’s a theme conflict.
I’ve disabled other plugins, deactivated, unintalled, reinstalled… nothing seems to have helped.

MemberWell, if the header image appears only when you have allocated a featured image that is going to be a challenging issue since The Events Calendar makes use of ‘virtual pages’.
We could probably put together some code that would call another function when and only when a page relating to The Events Calendar is being displayed – if your theme vendor was then able to provide some code to designate the image used for the theme header we might be able to arrive at a solution for this.
