MemberHi accessrose,
Have you checked your time zone settings in Settings –> General? That might be doing it. You might also try switching between the UTC setting and the city-specific ones.
Best,

ParticipantYup! It’s set to the correct setting. Still does the same thing.

MemberHey accessrose,
I should have also asked, do you have a End of Day Cutoff set? (That’s under Events –> Settings on the General tab). That could potentially effect things. And did you try toggling between the UTC and city-specific times? Sometimes sites run best on one or the other. Just resetting the time zones could even make the difference.
Please check those things and get back to me. Also, you’ll want to update to our latest versions: The Events Calendar 3.0.3 and Events Calendar PRO 3.0.5. Those were just released today.
Thank you,

ParticipantAlso, The plugin doesn’t allow me to NOT select a time to cut the day off.

MemberHi accessrose,
Is it consistently 3hrs before midnight (NYC/east coast time) that you notice this – or is there a different pattern – just so we can try to observe?
Sorry also for the delay, we have recently been snowed in with support requests and that’s unfortunately lengthened the time between responses.

ParticipantYes. Every day it changes before the scheduled time. I keep chaning the settings to see if something works but nothing.

MemberRight, but is it consistent? Do you find this happens for instance at 10pm every night, or does it depend on what events you have and what times they are scheduled for (or anything like that that you have noticed)?

ParticipantYes. It happens every day. Not sure on the exact time cause I miss it every time. BUT. I know it’s before the time I set in the settings if the plugin. Also, can you have a look at my contact page? It has an event title in the page had it seems to appear in other pages I make.

We can definitely try to help with that – could I ask you to post a separate thread for that one though to avoid confusion?
Yes. It happens every day. Not sure on the exact time cause I miss it every time. BUT. I know itโs before the time I set in the settings if the plugin.
OK, one problem from our side is that that’s not really specific enough for us: how do you know this is happening? Even if you don’t know the actual time it occurs at – which would be completely understandable – do you consistently visit at ten minutes to midnight or something of that order and then see that day view has already advanced to the next day? If that’s the case then that would be useful info for us to progress this (and I do hope my question doesn’t sound facetious – I just want to ensure I’ve got a clear picture).
The other thing that concerns me in terms of making sure I understand the problem is your mention of plugin settings – although WordPress’s date/time settings could have a bearing on this I don’t think any plugin settings are really relevant here unless I am misunderstanding – if so it would be great to clear that up.
Last but not least, in the process of looking at this we did manage to identify what looks like a different but possibly related problem with the plugin and WP date/time settings. So we’ll look into that as well – in the meantime if you could clarify the above that would be awesome ๐
