KeymasterHello John,
Thanks for reaching out! I’m sorry about this issue.
Does this also happen with other newly created venues?
Do you also experience the same if you switch to a default theme like twentyseventeen?
If that also doesn’t show any difference, then please go through our conflict testing guide and let me know the results.
Looking forward to helping you solve this.
Cheers,
AndrasAndras
KeymasterLaura, thanks a lot for checking this. I will need some time to investigate the issue.
I’ll come back to you when I find anything or if I need some more info.
Please hang in there.
Thanks and cheers,

KeymasterHi ccisatnu,
Thanks for getting in touch with us! I’m really sorry about this issue you are experiencing.
We are at the beginning of the investigation of this issue.
Thanks for doing a conflict test and sharing the results.
Would it be possible for you to set up a test site where we could do further testing?
Thanks and cheers,
AndrasAndras
KeymasterHello Ow,
Thanks for reaching out with your questions! I’m happy to give you some answers. Let’s go one by one.
1. Do you have a recommended for you feature? Can this be built easily? We have developers that can work with wordpressβ¦
No, we don’t have a “recommended for you” feature in place. We have a “featured event” feature where you can mark some events as featured which will be highlighted. This is not user / visitor dependent, but rather global.
Whether this can be built easily is dependent on the developers you can work with. π Events are a custom post type, so if it can be built for a post or a page, it can be built for an event as well.
2. Is it possible to have multi level categories or tags?
Events do support multi-level categories, but only single-level tags, just like posts.
3. Can we import categories and tags?
That depends on the method of export and import.
Simply importing categories is not possible. However, if you import an event from Google Calendar with Event Aggregator, which has a category assigned, then a category will be imported with the event.
4. If no recommendations are available to the user we would like to hide the recommended for you feature only leaving the full list of events.
We don’t have a “recommended for you” feature, so I suppose this could be developed to your liking.
5. Is there a free trial available to test functionality before proceeding?
Our core plugins The Events Calendar and Event Tickets are free and can be downloaded from the wordpress.org repo.
For our premium plugins there is no free trial available, however we have a 30-day no questions asked refund policy. You can testdrive the plugins for 30 days, and if it doesn’t work out for you, then you can ask for a refund.
Please let me know if you have any further questions or if something needs further clarification. I’m happy to assist you.
Cheers,

KeymasterHello Mo,
Thank you for reaching out to us! I’d be happy to answer your questions.
Reading through what you need, most of those need can be covered by our plugins. Let me give you the details.
After the payment every hour should be blocked in my Google account (for business).
While our plugin is able to import events from a google calendar, it export / write to google calendar, so you cannot block hours in a google calendar after a purchase. This might be possible with some development work, but that is beyond the scope of the support we provide.
However, if you use only The Events Calendar and Event Tickets / Event Tickets Plus, you can set it up that every hour you want to sell has only 1 ticket available. Once that is sold, the event / hour becomes sold out.
What kind of your products do I need to let my idea come true?
You will need at least The Events Calendar, Event Tickets, and Event Tickets Plus. Also you will need an eCommerce platform like WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads as they handle payment processing.
My clients should pay directly for the hour(s) via credit card and they should immediately receive an invoice via email (regarding tax issues every invoice has to have an individual number).
This can be achieved via WooCommerce: payment processing via credit card, PayPal or similar, invoice generation and so on. You might need some extensions for WooCommerce for some of the features.
(one by one or a bunch of ten (different prices)
This again is a feature that could be provided by WooCommerce (or EDD).
A note on the “booking 10” feature: for this the user would need to add 10 tickets of the different times / events to the basket and WooCommerce would need to handle the discount for that somehow automatically.
While your idea could be handled by our plugins in some way, they might not be the best option. I would recommend you to look around and check out other options as well. One that comes to my mind is Sensei from the WooCommerce guys, and I’m sure there are other plugins, which have better support for selling time.
Please let me know if you have any further questions. I’d be more than happy to answer them for you.

KeymasterHello fishtankcreative,
Thanks for reaching out with your question! I’m happy to assist you with this.
If Google says not to worry about it, then I wouldn’t. π
Events come and go, just like some posts and pages. If they are removed or if they don’t exists it will give a 404, which is normal.
If you would like to redirect traffic from past events that are deleted then you can use a redirection plugin to do that for you.
Also I can recommend this article from our knowledge base on this topic to give you some more info.
Do you have any other questions I can help you with?
Cheers,

KeymasterHi C,
It might have something to do with the update, absolutely. It also can happen that another plugin or the theme gets into conflict with the updated versions.
I did some further tests on two test sites of mine with a default theme and the calendar plugins and so far I haven’t been able to reproduce the issue.
Downgrading / going back to a previous version is definitely a good workaround until this gets fixed.
It would be great if you could set up a test site where you can reproduce the issue with the latest plugins. This would allow us to further dig into the issue and find the source of it. Can you do that?

KeymasterHi Laura,
Thanks for sharing those screenshots and the results of your testing.
These errors usually come up when there is a plugin or theme conflict.
Are you also getting the console errors when you are using a default theme and only the calendar plugins?
I have just took a look at your community event page and didn’t see any errors on page load.

Is this the page where you are experiencing the issue?
