ParticipantHello Modern Tribe Master,
It’s time to ask some questions after spending about three hours trying to find answers searching the forum or applying trial and error. I appreciate your help in advance.
I’m using both of your pro products for Events Calendar Pro and Event Tickets PLUS. I want to set up a ticket for sale like the one attached from your website – with the photo on display – but haven’t found a way yet.
When I create an event and set up to sell tickets, I can see photos on my events calendar under list view ONLY for RSVP and FREE events, but not for a paid ticketed event – with photo – as shown in the attachment.
Can you help me out please?
I’ve included system information below. The website is currently locked with a password. Let me know if there is a way to share the website with you without posting the password on this forum.
Thank you kindly,
Steve

KeymasterHello Steve,
Thanks for using our plugins and welcome to the forums!
Sorry about the issue you are experiencing! I’d be happy to help you out with this.
I ran a quick test on my local site. I set up an event with an RSVP and one with a Ticket. I could see the featured image for both on the list view.
Please check if you are still experiencing the same issue when you switch to a default theme like twentyseventeen. It could be that the theme you are using is influencing that.
If you are still having the issue with twentyseventeen then please go through our conflict testing guide and see if that brings up anything.
Looking forward to helping you solve this.
Cheers,

ParticipantDear Andras,
Thank you so much for your reply once again!
Good news! By trial and error I figured out how to place photos on the ticket page.
I had been building Events pages and adding a new photo each time as a featured image, but for some reason that uploaded image never showed up on the ticket page. My work-around was to create the event, go to the event calendar and find the event there, open it up, click on “find out more,” then at the “find out more” page I discovered that if I choose to edit that page and add the featured image there, the loaded photo shows up when I backspace to the previous Events calendar. I realize it’s an odd way to do it this way, but I’m happy that anything is working after hours of frustration.
Thank you so much for your strong recommendation to find a backup method. Because of you I will find that plug-in you recommend and make a back up immediately. It’s better to be safe than sorry, especially after doing a couple of weeks of work.
I have yet to successfully connect events ticketing with PayPal, but let’s save that for another day. Thank you again so much for all of your exceptional help Andras…they should give you a raise!

KeymasterHello Steve,
Thanks for your kind words! 🙂 I will definitely let my manager know about your reco. 😉
I’m stoked to hear you managed to figure it out! Awesome job there! You are on the right path of advancing way past rookie. 🙂
Ticketing with PayPal goes through an eCommerce solution. I see you already have WooCommerce installed. There you need to set up PayPal as a payment gateway.
I suggest to look through the options under Events > Settings > Tickets tab > WooCommerce Support section.
Do you have any other questions I can help you with before I close this ticket?
Cheers,
