    Hi Randy!

Just wanted to share with you that a new release of our plugins is out, including the new tribe_aggregator_record_finalized action to allow developers to act before Event Aggregator imports start.

Find out more about this release → https://theeventscalendar.com/maintenance-release-for-the-week-of-9-july-2018/

You can use the following snippet as a reference to create your own customization:

    Hi Scott,

Thanks for following up with this.

To be able to sync both Eventbrite and manually add events in I can use both the Event Aggregator and use the free The Events Calendar plugin to take care of the manual side of things?

Yes, but just to clear things out, Event Aggregator is not a separate plugin, but a built-in tool of The Events Calendar plugin. You can use Event Aggregator for free to import information from a CSV file, but you will need an Event Aggregator license to import from other import sources.

Is there any money back guarantees on this plugin if it’s not quite what is required?

We have a pretty cool refund policy, so you could ask for a full refund of your purchase if you are within 30 days of payment > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/refund-policy/

Is there anything else I can help you with? Let me know 🙂

    Best,
    Victor

    Hi Scott!

Thanks for your interest in our plugins!

You can import events from Eventbrite with our Event Aggregator service > https://theeventscalendar.com/product/event-aggregator/, which also allows you to import from other external import sources too like Google calendar or Meetup > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/import-from-feed-or-url/

The events you import will show up in your main events calendar, which is the main feature of our free The Events Calendar plugin. You will also be able to create your own events manually via the WordPress backend. You can learn more about this in https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/new-user-primer-the-events-calendar-and-events-calendar-pro/

On the other hand, if you also want to manage your Eventbrite events from your WordPress Admin, you should check out our Eventbrite Tickets plugins that allows you to do just that > https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-eventbrite-tickets/

I hope that helps! Let me know if any question 🙂

    Hi Stacey!

Thanks for your interest in our plugins.

Unfortunately, that is not possible out of the box with our plugins. However, you might want to have a look at our Community Events plugin, which works alongside The Events Calendar, and allows user submitted events via a frontend form.

Community Events allows you to set all user submitted events to have a Draft or Pending Review status, so they can be later approved and Published by a site’s administrator. You can learn more about this feature in https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/managing-community-events-submissions/

can your calendar push events to facebook?

This is not a functionality that is provided by any of our plugins. If you were to submit events to Eventbrite, however, you may want to check out our Eventbrite Tickets plugin > https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-eventbrite-tickets/

I hope that helps! Let me know if any follow up question 🙂

    Hi Margaret!

Thanks for your interest in our plugins!

A Booking button on Facebook page is not something that can be done with our plugins. However, I believe that is a functionality already built-in when creating an event in Facebook, where you can fill in with your site’s event URL so that there is a Buy Tickets (or similar) button that will redirect to the specified URL.

I hope that helps. Let me know if any follow up questions 🙂

    Hi Sara,

Thanks for taking the time to report this.

I’ve just checked the deprecated functions on our plugins and here’s what I found:

The WC_Cart::get_cart_url() function was being used in our Event Tickets Plus plugin, but we’ve already replaced it by wc_get_cart_url() to prevent PHP notices in version 4.5.6, so you shouldn’t get that notices if you are using latest versions of our plugins.

As for the add_to_cart_fragments, we do not use that in any of our plugins. Could you please check where that message is coming from?

You can enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG to create a debug.log file inside the /wp-content directory. After that, try reproducing the issue a few times, so that it saves into the debug.log file. Please share that log file with us so we can see where the error is coming from.

Also, please share with us your system information by following this guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/.

    Thanks,
    Victor.

    Buenas Antonio!

    Gracias,
    Victor

    Hi Yuliya,

Thanks for following up with this.

Have you configured your API connection with Eventbrite? You can find more about this in > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/configuring-eb-tickets/

When coming back, please share your latest system information by following this guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/. We’ll see if there is anything strange that would indicate an error from there.

    Let me know about it.

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi There!

Thanks for posting here as I asked 🙂

I have gone ahead and switched your Event Aggregator license to an Eventbrite Tickets license.

Please note that it is a different license key (ending in 7d7f), which you can get from your licenses page > https://theeventscalendar.com/license-keys/

Please try the license key on your site and let me know if it works for you.

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi Yuliya,

if I purchase Eventbrite tickets only, I can display events from Eventbrite on my calendar (in calendar form) *and* my events will display a Register link?

Exactly! Your Eventbrite events will be displayed as any other event in your site and will show the Eventbrite tickets on the single event page.

Can we switch the license from the Aggregator to the Eventbrite Tickets to gain necessary functionality? How do we do that?

Yes, we can switch the license for you. In order to do so, we need you to either open a new topic in our Event Aggregator Help Desk logged in with the same account that holds the license, or to get in touch with us via our Contact Form. In any case, please request the license change you need to perform and we’ll be happy to do that for you.

    Let me know about it.

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi Robert,

I’m not aware of a specific scenario where it wouldn’t work, I’t just I didn’t test every possible scenario on my end, but even if I did, it’s always suggested that you perform those tests yourself with your own site.

This will allow you to ensure the code you are implementing works alongside all other components of your site, like your theme, other plugins, any other custom code you have and even your own site’s settings.

I hope that makes sense. Let me know if any follow up question.

    Best,
    Victor
