I have a client who runs a website and a sub-domain and would like the ability to have logged in users on the sub-domain to submit events to the main website calendar but have the ability to approve them before having them go live on the main website only. Is this setup possible with your suite of plugins? I’ve had a look at the event aggregator plugin and the community events but can’t work out if this system would do what my client needs.

Side question – can your calendar push events to facebook? (don’t want to import but want to push).

    Thanks

    Hi Stacey!

Thanks for your interest in our plugins.

Unfortunately, that is not possible out of the box with our plugins. However, you might want to have a look at our Community Events plugin, which works alongside The Events Calendar, and allows user submitted events via a frontend form.

Community Events allows you to set all user submitted events to have a Draft or Pending Review status, so they can be later approved and Published by a site’s administrator. You can learn more about this feature in https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/managing-community-events-submissions/

can your calendar push events to facebook?

This is not a functionality that is provided by any of our plugins. If you were to submit events to Eventbrite, however, you may want to check out our Eventbrite Tickets plugin > https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-eventbrite-tickets/

I hope that helps! Let me know if any follow up question 🙂

    Best,
    Victor

Thanks. I will go back to the client and see what they’d like to do.
