MemberHello Kyle!
Thanks for getting in touch with us.
I’m sorry you are having that issue. Let me try to help you with that.
First, could you please make sure you are using the latest versions of our plugins? Specially the latest version for Eventbrite Tickets 4.4.7.1 which includes a fix for the Eventbrite ticket form not being embedded. Does it solve your issue after that?
If it doesn’t, then please go through the complete steps in our testing for conflicts guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/ and let us know if you see any difference.
“We were unable to import your Eventbrite event. Please verify the event id and try again.”
This error could be something different. Could you please send us a screenshot of where you are getting the error? Also, please let us know the Eventbrite URL for the event you are trying to import.
Thanks,

MemberHello Ellen!
I’m sorry you are experiencing those issues. Let me help you with that.
Just to confirm, are you only having issues with Facebook imports or other sources too?
For those Facebook imports, could you please see if they have upcoming events in it? If they do, please try creating a new schedule for it and see if it works.
Also, could you please go to Events > Help and under Event Aggregator System Status check if your connection with the Event Aggregator is ok and if you are not reaching your license daily limit?
Thanks,
VictorAugust 3, 2017 at 11:10 am in reply to: Can I import an event schedule with multiple dates? #1330282Victor
MemberHello Kenny!
Thanks for reaching out to us! I’m happy to help you with this.
I’ve just reviewed the documentation and made a few tests myself and I could create multiple dates events and successfully imported them to The Events Calendar. Bear in mind, that these events get imported as separate events for each date you create, so you will have to import each of them manually and not as a bulk.
Unfortunately, we do not support creating recurring events to be published in your Eventbrite account, so you will be limited to create them in Eventbrite and then import them as single events.
I hope that helps! Let me know if you have other questions and I’d be happy to help.
Best,
VictorVictor
MemberHola Andres!
I’m sorry you are experiencing this issue too. Unfortunately, we haven’t had feedback from that user, so let me help you with the troubleshooting.
Could you please make sure all your Modern Tribe plugins (and WordPress core) are at their latest versions?
Once you verify you’re on the latest versions, please test to see if the issue is still happening for you. If it is, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any PHP errors you see while changing tickets quantity, navigating your site’s home page, events page, single-event pages, and any other of your site’s pages relevant to this ticket.
Then please share with us your system info by following this guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Also, could you please see if there are any console errors by inspecting the pages where you have the issue? Here’s how you can achieve that > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-google-chrome-developer-tools/
Thanks,
VictorVictor
MemberHello Chris!
Thanks for reaching out to us again about your issue.
First, I want to apologise for your other thread being autoclosed with no additional explanations. Nico is out on a well deserved vacation, but it seems your thread went out of radar from the rest of his pending tasks somehow. I’m not really sure how this happened but I will bring this up to the team to have it investigated. Thanks so much for your sincere suggestion as it helps us improve the quality of support we deliver.
I have just reviewed all the previous thread to catch up with things. I will flag this again in the report to see if we can get it moving again and keep improving the code like Nico last said. I will keep you posted about the news.
This time I will set the thread’s status to “Pending fix” so it won’t be autoclosed.
Best,
VictorVictor
MemberHello Patrick!
Thanks for following up with this.
I’m really sorry this isn’t working for you.
I know you wanted to require the organizer, is it not working for organizer or other fields too?
Could you please try the following code snippet and see if it works for requiring venue and organizer? I could make it work with this:
add_filter( 'tribe_events_community_required_fields', 'my_community_required_fields', 10, 1 ); function my_community_required_fields( $fields ) { if ( ! is_array( $fields ) ) { return $fields; } $fields[] = 'venue'; $fields[] = 'organizer'; return $fields; }Please let me know about it.
Thanks,
VictorVictor
MemberHello Preston!
Thanks for coming back with the information.
Unfortunately, I could reproduce the venue/location not importing myself. This turned out to be a known issue with the iCal feeds. I will change this thread’s status to “Pending fix” and link it to the report so we’ll let you know when a fix is released for this issue in one of our future maintenance releases.
I apologise for this inconvenience and we’d appreciate your patience in the meantime.
Don’t hesitate to ask any other questions you may have.

MemberHello Kenneth!
I’m sorry you are having those issues. Let me help you with them.
Could you please let us know if the error message “There was an error fetching the results from your import: Unknown service message” is showing for Facebook imports or other sources too? If they come from Facebook, could you please share the Facebook URL with us?
The HTTP ERROR 500 seems to be a different issue. So, could you please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG ? This will create a debug.log file inside the /wp-content directory.
After that, try navigating a few times into the page where you are having the issue, so that in case there is an error, it will be saved into the debug.log file. Please share that log file with us so we can spot the problem from there.
Thanks,
VictorAugust 2, 2017 at 8:34 pm in reply to: Pro Import Not Updating "Use Latitude + Longitude" Checkbox & Additional Issues #1329856Victor
MemberHello Christopher!
Thanks for getting in touch with us!
1. I’m sorry you are experiencing those issues. Let me try to help you with each one of them:
You are right about this. I have tried for myself and there is no “Use Latitude + Longitude” field to match from the CSV and I can surely see the use of this. I have logged a report about this so the team will address it in a future maintenance release. I also linked this thread to it so we’ll let you know when this is fixed.2. I could import events with ‘&’ in their names/descriptions. They do import as “&” but when the show up in the front end they appear correctly as ‘&’. Do you experience anything different? let us know about it.
3. I could not reproduce this issue on my own installation. Could you please share the CSV so we can run some tests with it and see if there’s anything wrong?
4. This seems a strange issue and possibly a bug. I will kindly ask you to open a new thread for it as this will allow us to keep things more organized (so we don’t mix up different issues). When you do, please share with us the CSV you are having the issue with. You can also link to this thread as reference.
When coming back, please share with us your system info by following this guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/ This will allow us to make the tests on our side replicating the same settings as your site.
Are we going to be able to import recurring events soon? If not, at the very least could I get an example of how you structure your arrays for recurring events so I could parse them directly to my database instead of using import?
This is something that other users have already requested before, and is certainly something interesting to incorporate as a new functionality. Unfortunately, this is not something scheduled to make in the near future. You can add your vote to this request in our user voice here > https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/17434264-add-csv-recurring-import-to-aggregator
The instances for recurring events are child posts (child events) to the main event (parent post). Does this help with what you are trying to accomplish?
Let us know how that goes and if you have other questions.
Best,
VictorVictor

MemberHello Andrew!
Thanks for reaching out to us!
I’m sorry you are having that conflict. Let me try to help you with that.
I tried finding the error you mention in the event you shared but I could not find any issues. Did you manage to solve this? If not, what’s the specific problem you are experiencing? Could you share a screenshot of it?
I tried installing the Pixgridder plugin but it throws a fatal error upon installation. This plugin has not been updated in over 2 years and says it’s only tested up to WordPress version 4.2.15.
While it doesn’t mean it won’t work, there is a big chance this plugin will also cause conflicts with other parts of your site, specially when you update your plugins, theme and even the WordPress core.
Let me know about it.
Thanks,
VictorVictor
MemberHello Ruta!
Thanks for clarifying that.
Could you please try creating a new recurring event that only has one or two instances (ie, an event that recurs weekly and ends after 2 weeks) ? Do you experience the same timeout/freeze with this event? Let us know about it.
Also, I know you have tried the following:
- Deactivated all other plugins? Yes
- Switched to a default theme? Yes
Did you happen to notice a difference when deactivating all other plugins or switching to a default WordPress theme, like Twenty Seventeen? What happens if you try deactivating all plugins and switching to the Twenty Seventeen theme together? Do you notice a difference then?
Lastly, could you please see if you are getting any console errors by inspecting the page when on the edit event page?
Thanks,
VictorVictor
MemberHello Ryan!
I’m sorry you are experiencing duplicate events from Gcal too.
We are not able to reproduce this on our end, so could you please share with us the Google calendar source ? We’ll try to run some tests on our side to see what we find.
Just to confirm, are you having duplicates for all the events or just some? If just some, could you point us to which ones?
Thanks,
VictorVictor
MemberHello Mario!
I’m sorry you are experiencing this issue too.
Like in the linked thread you reported, we are unfortunately experiencing some problems with scheduled events and the team is actively working towards a solution.
Just to confirm you are having the same issue as others, could you please let us know if those scheduled imports are from Facebook? If so, could you please see if those sources have upcoming events in it and share the Facebook URL with us?
Thanks,
Victor -
