August 2, 2017 at 3:35 pm in reply to: Eventbrite not authorizing on site – two factor authentication? #1329780
Victor
MemberHello Charlotte!
Thanks for getting in touch with us! Let me help you with that.
I’m not really familiar with how Duo works with your site, but I took a quick look at how it works and it seems that it could be the problem here.
Is there a way you could try disabling the two factor authentication until you finish the connection with Eventbrite and then enabling it back again? If yes, could you try to do so and let me know if it works?
When coming back, could you please share with us your system info by following this guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/ ? This way we can see if there is anything strange that might be involved too.
Let us know about it.
Thanks,

MemberHello Leander!
I’d be happy to help you with that.
You could achieve something like that by customizing the single-venue.php and single-organizer.php files located at /wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/views/pro/
You could make a template override of those templates by following the steps provided in our themer’s guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
I hope it helps! Let me know if you have other questions.

MemberHello Matt!
Thanks for confirming that with me.
While I’m not sure about the specifics, we certainly have a conflict with the Piklist plugin, so I have logged a report about this conflict and linked it to this thread as a reference. Our dev team will address it in the future to see if they can come up with a fix for this conflict.
Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a date as it’s on the developer’s hand now. But rest assured we will let you know as soon as we have a resolution.
In the meantime, the only workaround I could find so far was deactivating the Piklist plugin. I know this might not be ideal for you case if your site depends on its functionality, but that’s the only way I could find to prevent the fatal errors from occurring.
Let me know if you have other questions.

MemberHi Luc!
The “December” translation string comes from the WordPress core translation files. From you system settings I can see that your site language is set to “de_DE_formal” so you should check if you have the de_DE_formal.po translation file by going to /wp-content/languages/
I tried it myself by switching my site’s language to Deutsch (Sie) and I can confirm the December string gets translated to ‘Dezember’. Let me know how that goes.
Regarding the Ticket number, we have this code snippet that will let you set the initial ticket number:
https://gist.github.com/cliffordp/91223c67e30e648257e47e50349d81f4#file-functions-php
You should place that code in your theme’s functions.php file. Will that work for you?
Let me know how that goes.

Hey Mathew! Thanks so much for chiming in here! I missed to see your reply in the first place.
I’ll go ahead and close this now, but feel free to open a new topic if anything comes up and we’d be happy to help! 🙂
Cheers!

MemberThanks for coming back with all this information Steven.
I’m really sorry this is happening to you. I truly understand your position right now and I will try to prioritise this as much possible.
I will have this looked by other team members to have a second pair of eyes on it and will get back to you as soon as I can.
In the meantime, could you please see if there are any console errors right before clicking the Import button and getting the white screen?
It could also be a good idea to try switching to a default theme and deactivating all other plugins to see if any difference. For this I’d recommend setting up a dev/staging site so you don’t disrupt the live site.
Please let us know how that goes. We’ll keep you posted as well.
Thanks,
VictorVictor
