    Hola Antonio!

    Gracias,
    Victor

    Hi Michael!

Thanks for getting in touch with us. Let me help you troubleshoot that issue.

First, please make sure you are using the latest versions of our plugins. Remember you can always download our plugins from your downloads page > https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/

If you still experience the issue after that, you should go through the testing for conflicts guide. I see you have tried the following:

    • Deactivated all other plugins? Yes
    • Switched to a default theme? Yes

Did you happen to notice a difference when deactivating all other plugins or switching to a default WordPress theme, like Twenty Seventeen? What happens if you try deactivating all plugins and switching to the Twenty Seventeen theme together? Do you notice a difference then?

If you see no difference in those conditions, then we’ll need to do some deeper troubleshooting

When coming back, please share with us your system information by following this guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/. We’ll see if there is anything strange that would indicate an error from there.

Let us know how that goes.

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi Tim!

Thanks for reaching out to us! Let me help you with this topic.

Please allow me to note that we are limited in how much we can support custom development questions like this. That said, we always like helping out and at least point our users into the right direction as much possible.

You should be able to strip those tags by using the tribe_meta_event_tags filter located at /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/functions/template-tags/general.php

Specifically, you should modify the $list argument that has the html tags you want to remove.

I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

    Hi!

Unfortunately, we are not currently planning to bring this as a functionality. However, you could post that as a new feature idea in our user voice > https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas so others wanting the same functionality can vote for it.

Let me know if you need help elaborating this idea further and I’d be happy to assist.

    Hi Tim!

You can privately post in a thread by checking the option “Set as private reply” before you submit the post.

We unfortunately, cannot accept login credentials as we state in our terms > https://theeventscalendar.com/terms/ but let me try to help you troubleshoot the issue you are having.

I’m not really sure I understand what you mean by “now all theming options are disabled”. Could you please explain this a bit more and perhaps share with us a screenshot of the issue?

Additionally, this can be related to a theme or plugin conflict, so to narrow the problem down please go through the steps provided in the testing for conflicts guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/ and let us know what you find in the process.

Also, please share with us your latest system information by following this guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/. We’ll see if there is anything strange that would indicate an error from there.

    Let me know about it.

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi Amy,

    Thanks for testing that out.

The URL you provided does not seem to match an iCal feed. Could you please send us the ICAL address by entering the Google calendar settings? You can obtain the ical feed by clicking the green ICAL button.

Could you please confirm you are also using that same ICAL URL for your imports?

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hello Kevin,

    Thanks for testing that out.

First, could you please make sure you update to the latest versions of our plugins? We always suggest to setup a dev/staging site so you can test things out and make all plugins, theme and WordPress core updates without disrupting the live site.

If nothing changes, could you please see if there are any console errors by inspecting the page when on the edit event screen? We have an article that explains how to do that here > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-google-chrome-developer-tools/

Also, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG ? This will create a debug.log file inside the /wp-content directory.

After that, try reproducing the issue a few times, so that in case there is an error, it will be saved into the debug.log file. Please share that log file with us so we can see if any problem from there.

If nothing changes and you don’t see any console errors, or don’t get any error messages in the debug.log file, then this could relate to a theme or plugin conflict, so to narrow the problem down please go through the steps provided in the testing for conflicts guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/ and let us know what you find in the process.

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi Joel!

Thanks for following up with this and for testing that out.

I totally understand your position, so now we know it’s most likely a conflict with Divi, let me try to help you with the troubleshooting.

I have just tried to reproduce the issue using Divi, but failed to do so. Could you please let me know which version of Divi theme you are currently using?

Also, this might be due to specific Divi settings, so if you could export your Divi Theme Options and share those with us (in a private reply if you’d like) so I can try to reproduce the issue?

As Divi theme is very used across our users, we’ve built an extension where we aim to address conflicts with Divi and other Elegant Themes > https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/elegant-themes-divi-theme-compatibility/

While I don’t think your particular issue will be resolved with the extension, I suggest you take a look at it and give it a try.

Please let me know how that goes and if you have any questions as we are here to help as much possible.

    Best,
    Victor

    Hi Julius!

Thanks for following up with this. It seems that you have already asked for a refund as the CSV import feature was not what your client was looking for.

We are sorry to see you go, but we do hope to see you again in the future if you consider using any of our plugins 🙂

Best of luck with your projects!

    Cheers,
    Victor

    Hi Amy!

Thanks for getting in touch with us! Let me help you with those issues.

It’s good to know you could solve the first of your issues. Now regarding the changes not reflecting in your site after importing, you might need to adjust the Event Update Authority settings by going to Events > Settings > Imports tab.

Let me point you to the following article about all the Event Aggregator Import Settings available > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/event-aggregator-import-settings/

not all the events that are within the Google calendar are shown on the Events Calendar.

This could be due to the Import Limit Type and the Import Date Range Limit settings that will dictate how far into the future the events will be fetched.

The Events Calendar doesn’t go further than 23 months in advance

There is no limit in how far in the future you can navigate the month view. Could you please share a link to where you are experiencing this?

How do I get a photo to show with the event on the Events Calendar by adding it through Google calendar?

Unfortunately, Event Aggregator does not support importing images and attachments from Google Calendar at this time. I wish I could say it does, but that is not the case.

If you still experience problems importing from Google Calendar, please share the iCal feed with us so we can run some tests with it.

Let me know how that goes and if you have other questions.

    Best,
    Victo

    Hi Katheryn!

Thanks for reaching out to us! Let me try to help you with that.

I’m not sure I understand correctly how the comped tickets are created. Are you using a WooCommerce feature or extension? You can share some screenshots of it or event provide us with a link to where we can see the tickets.

If you want to hide a certain ticket from the single event view, you could modify the ticket start sale and end sale dates so that they don’t show up. Will this work for you?

I’m thinking you might also need to hide a certain product from your WooCommerce Shop, in which case I’d recommend you have a look at the visibility setting for the product.

Let me know if that helps and if you have any questions.

    Best,
    Victor
