ParticipantIs it possible to combine all of the required fields for events, based on this article, https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/csv-files-options-and-examples/, into one .CSV file rather than having to create three different CSV files. One for events, organizers, and venues.
From a client that’s non technical, having to create three different spreadsheets to import a mass number of events appears to be so cumbersome.

MemberHi Julius!
Thanks for reaching out to us! Let me help you with this topic.
You don’t necessarily need to create all three CSV imports to only import events. If the Event CSV has an organizer and a venue assigned and those do not exist in your site, they will be created as such.
On the other hand, if you only want to import organizers or venues to your site, without importing events, then you would have to make a separate CSV file for each and import them as such (Import Organizers, Import Venues).
Does it help? Let me know if you have any questions and I’d be happy to help.

ParticipantMake sense. My other question is can I merge certain column headers into one spreadsheet. If so, which of the content types would I select (Event, Organizer, Venues). For example if I create an Excel spreadsheet (CSV of course), with the Venue Name, Venue Description, Venue Address, Venue Address 2, Venue City, Venue State, Venue Website, Event Start Date, Event Start Time, Event End Date, Event Description. Could I create one document and import just that info?

MemberHi Julius!
Unfortunately, that is not possible as importing Events will only allow you to import the Venue name and Event Organizer Name/ID.
Events, Venues and Organizers are different and separate post types, so you will only be able to import the Venue Description, Venue Address, Venue Address 2, Venue City, Venue State, Venue Website when importing Venues.
I know some users first import all venues and organizers once, and then import events when they need to, so they are linked to those already created venues/organizers.
I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any follow up questions.

ParticipantThe client does not like the import feature, they would prefer one sheet to import everything.

MemberHi Julius!
Thanks for following up with this. It seems that you have already asked for a refund as the CSV import feature was not what your client was looking for.
We are sorry to see you go, but we do hope to see you again in the future if you consider using any of our plugins 🙂
Best of luck with your projects!
Cheers,
Victor -
