    Hi!

Thanks for testing that out and for following up with this.

I have logged a bug report for this issue so it can be addressed in one of our next maintenance releases of our plugins.

I will set this thread’s status to “Pending Fix” and link it to the report so we can notify you once a fix is released.

We apologize for the inconvenience and we appreciate your patience while we work on this.

    Hi Uwe,

Thanks for following up with this. I’m sorry to hear this is still an issue on your end.

Could you please share with us a link to an event you are having the issue with and a screenshot of the edit event screen where we can see the event cost fields and the RSVP tickets in it?

Also, can you please let us know if you have the Currency symbol follows value option checked under Events > Settings ?

I think there may be another issue with the extension.

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi Karen!

Thanks for following up with this. The template override should work by placing it in your child theme. Can you try placing the tribe-events folder in your parent theme instead, just to verify it works there? If it does, then it means something in the child theme may not be working, or it may the case that you have the parent theme active and not the child.

How to get the thumbnails to show in the same sizes (preffered size is rectangular)

I did not modified the image size to output in the template, so it should show the thumbnail size by default. Can you share a link to the page where I can have a closer inspection?

Do you have any css code for me, so I can edit the template and reflect horizontal listing of the widget

Unfortunately, we don’t have any snippet to accomplish that and it’s beyond the scope of support we can give. I think you should be able to get that layout following Salie’s tutorial. If you need to hire a developer to get this or any other deeper customization, you may want to look for a suitable developer > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/custom-development/

Let us know how it goes.

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi Antonio,

Thanks for coming back with the system information.

I’ve just realized you are trying to output the event website and not the permalink. The event_website is not a default piece of information available in the tooltip, so you may be adding some custom code somewhere.

We are fairly limited in how much support we can give for custom development questions like that. However, we always like helping out and at least point users into the right direction as much possible. So, if you share the custom code with us and let us know where you are placing it, I’d be happy to have a look and see what could be causing the issue.

Please let us know about it.

    Hi There!

Thanks for taking the time to report this.

Just to confirm the issue is not connected to a conflict with your theme or another plugin. Could you please try to reproduce the same issue under default conditions? By default conditions I mean using Twenty Seventeen theme and only our plugins activated, and of course also with ElasticPress plugin.

We’ll also try to reproduce the same behaviour on our end and see what we can find.

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi Valerie!

I’m sorry to hear you are having that issue. Let me help you with the troubleshooting so we can find what is going on.

First, could you please share with us your system information by following this guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/ ? We’ll see if there is anything strange that would indicate an error from there.

Did you happen to notice a difference when deactivating all other plugins or switching to a default WordPress theme, like Twenty Seventeen? What happens if you try deactivating all plugins and switching to the Twenty Seventeen theme together? Do you notice a difference then?

If you see no difference in those conditions, then we’ll need to do some deeper troubleshooting.

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi Adam and @willcurrie!

Event Tickets Plus does not have a built-in option to customize the ticket emails. However, you can customize it by using one of the methods described in our themer’s guide > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/

The Email Settings menu you see in your previous site may be something coming from a third party plugin or customization.

I hope that helps. Let me know if any follow up questions.

    Hi!

I’m sorry to hear you are having trouble implementing that template override. I’d be happy to help you getting that to work.

I have just checked and it seems the example template in the article I shared in point 1 was old, so I went ahead and changed it so that it shows the featured image regardless of the event being featured or not. You can see the modified single-event.php template below:

    https://gist.github.com/vicskf/7a2d07917c668f4ecc0f4bdf3024454d

Just like before, try placing that template override into your child theme’s directory inside /tribe-events/pro/widgets/modules/

Please let me know if it works for you.

    Hi Steven!

Great catch! Indeed, there is a setting called “Import Limit Type” that allows you to set how far into the future the events will be fetched.

You can find more about these settings in the following article > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/event-aggregator-import-settings/

Try modifying it and let us know how it works for you.

    Thanks,

in reply to: Events Tickets Plus – Will It Function As Required? #1621408

    Hi Vincent,

I’m sorry to hear that all of the features you are looking for are not yet within our plugins functionality. Feature requests prioritization does not just depend on the number of votes. In the case for recurring events tickets, this requires a complete redesign and development of how the recurring events system works.

It does not always make sense to build the most requested features first. We also have to weigh this against how long the feature takes to build. You might have 500 users request one feature, yet in the time it takes to build it you can build 10 other feature requests which thousands have collectively requested.

Between Eventbrite, Events Ticket Plus, and Community Tickets, there isn’t a way to add a line of text to the emails the customers get?

Not without some custom coding. We do have a list of extensions that enhance the ticketing functionalities > https://theeventscalendar.com/?s=&match%5Btribe_ecp_product_links%5D%5B%5D=event-tickets-plus&match%5Btribe_ecp_product_links%5D%5B%5D=event-tickets&post_type%5B%5D=tribe-extensions&submit=Filter

The security code is generated as a security measure against fake tickets when checking-in your attendees. This is also used by our Event Tickets Plus app > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-qr-codes-event-tickets-plus/#etp-app

Events tickets has a description field under advanced settings, why wouldn’t that show up on the emails as well as the front end?

I think it’s just a design decision. But you can totally show the ticket description by customizing the ticket email. In the following thread Brian describes how you can do this > https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/tickets-dont-show-the-ticket-description/ The code itself may be outdated, but the principle remains the same.

We are fairly limited in how much support we can give for custom development questions. However, we always like helping out and at least point users into the right direction as much possible.

If you need further help customizing our plugins, we suggest hiring a suitable developer > https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/custom-development/

    Hi there!

Thanks for following up with this.

I have checked and it seems this thread has also been linked to another bug report for the ONCE recurring events issue, which seems to be already scheduled to be included in our next maintenance release cycle.

We’ll let you know once a fix is released for that.

Thanks for your cooperation and patience.

    Hi Steve!

Just wanted to share with you that a new release of our plugins is out, where we included a new Import Process System setting that allows you to select whether you want your imports to be processed Asynchronously or using the cron-based system. You can find this setting under Events > Settings > Imports tab under the Global Import Settings section.

If you are experiencing problems with your imports, please try using the cron-based system.

Also, if you were using the code snippet to use the cron-based imports system, please remove it and use this setting instead.

Additionally, we added an option to stop and clear all current asynchronous import processes by using the Stop current processes option.

You can find out more about this release → https://theeventscalendar.com/maintenance-release-for-the-week-of-9-september-2018/

We apologize for the delay and appreciate your patience while we worked on this.

As always, we suggest to setup a dev/staging site so you can make all plugin updates without disrupting the live site.

Please update the plugins and don’t hesitate to open a new topic if anything comes up.

    Best,
    Victor
