I’m happy to help out here. I’ll be responding inline to your questions below to make sure that I don’t miss anything. π
1. How can we get a Sidebar to show within all The Events / Community Events Pages?
Unfortunately, this kind of request would require some customization that we can’t provide on these forums. However, we do have some resources for guidance doing that here, and I think that you might find this plugin helpful for creating custom sidebars. I’ve used it before and found it very helpful. If you need to find someone to help with the customizations, we also have some tips for finding help here.
2. Can we some how disable only Tags from the Create Event page? We only want to use Categories.
Unfortunately, this is also not a built in option of OUR plugin. However, the quick fix, which you can do with any custom post type within WordPress, is to disable the tags in the screen options. Basically, you’ll want to go to the “Events > Add New” screen and then use this article as a guide to hide the tag options. This will hide tags as an option for new events being added, but not for other post types. π
3. Can we somehow skip the βEvent Submitted Pageβ and refer user back to standard βMy Events Pageβ?
This is also not a built in option. I feel like a broken record, I know. π However, in the spirit of being helpful, I think you’ll find this article here helpful. You can simply redirect the url for the Event Submitted Page back to the My Events Page. π
4. What Addon Plugins do we need to be able to attend and invite people to events?
I’m not sure I fully understand this question? If you’re looking for RSVP functionality, you simply need Event Tickets. If you need to sell tickets, you need Event Tickets Plus. π
5. No events are showing in the Map, they ar however visible if we choose βList Viewβ What may be wrong?
Β First, can you confirm for me that you’ve troubleshooted your Google Maps settings according to this guide, and that you’ve configured the API according to this doc?
Let me know how this goes, and we’ll work on this from there.
6. Is there any Addon/way to make Events Public / Invite only? And is there any smart way to invite people form e.g. Facebook / Linkedin?
Unfortunately we don’t have an plugin for these things, and I can’t think of another solution off the top of my head for these inquiries.
7. How can we edit the confirmation E-mail and other sent by the Plugin? Both design and text?
At this time, aside from having a freelancer make some customizations to the plugin, the only solution we have for customizing the confirmation email is this free extension.

Unfortunately, at this time, it’s not a built in option to price events that way, but this change could be made with some customization, and if you’re using WooCommerce to sell tickets, you could potentially use this plugin that they offer. - Could you set up a dev environment (perhaps on a subdomain), and turn on the related events and send me the link so that I can inspect the code and perhaps give you some direction on this? I can’t be very helpful with it turned off.
- Can you also reach out to Avada’s theme support while I work on this and see if they have anything to help with this situation, and let me know their response? Sometimes working together with the theme support team helps provide some important insights, as they’re deeply familiar with their theme, and we’re not.

You should put the snippet in your functions.php file. However, if you’re not comfortable making code changes, I’d highly suggest hiring a freelancer to help you out. We also have some guidance for making changes yourself in our Themer’s Guide here. Beyond this snippet, there is not a lot of support that we can offer for customizations such as this one, so a freelancer may be helpful to have in your back pocket anyway if this gets more complex. π

- Unfortunately, we can’t take you any further on resolving specific theme conflicts on this forum. We support conflicts and bugs with default WordPress themes and WordPress core. You do have a couple options, you can reach out to Enfold’s theme support. You can also make the changes yourself or hire someone to help. If you need help you customize the styles for our plugins and your theme, you can follow the guidelines in our Themer’s Guide here, or you can find a freelancer here to help you. π

Thanks for reaching out, happy to help here! π This seems to be some styling issues, possibly Β theme conflicts. I’ll be taking a deeper look into this for you, but in the meantime I’d recommend the following:
1. I’d recommend first trying some of the other options under “Events>Settings>Display>Default stylesheet used for events templates.” See if one of the other settings solves your problem. (This is the easy fix.)
2. If that doesn’t help, test for conflicts to see if it is a problem with the theme or with one of your plugins.

Have you changed anything between now and two updates ago other than updating? Otherwise, I think this may be a bug. I’ll do some testing, but if you can let me know of any changes you’ve made, that would be really helpful.
