Recurring event show up once in a Photo default view

I have a recurring event that will happen 4 times. I want only the first one to show up in a photo default view.
Please let me know how to make this happen.

Thanks for using The Events Calendar, I’m happy to help out here.:)

Because I’m unable to replicate this issue on my testing server, this seems that it may be a theme or plugin conflict. Would you please work through the steps here to test for a conflict? This will help me be able to better assist you. 🙂

Hi Shelby,

I do not think it’s a theme conflict. The event will happen 4 times. So technically the plugin is showing everything correct. I need to find a setting to make it show up only once, since it’s the same series events.

Is there any setting to show the series events as one unit, not each separate session?

Hi there Anna,

Apologies, I think I misread your post initially!

You can totally do this by checking the box under “Events > Settings > Recurring event instances”
