    Hi,

We have some qustions regarding your PlugIn that we are using on Femensty.com.

    1. How can we get a Sidebar to show within all The Events / Community Events Pages?

    2. Can we some how disable only Tags from the Create Event page? We only want to use Categories.

    3. Can we somehow skip the “Event Submitted Page” and refer user back to standard “My Events Page”?

    4. What Addon Plugins do we need to be able to attend and invite people to events?

    5. No events are showing in the Map, they ar however visible if we choose “List View” What may be wrong?

    6. Is there any Addon/way to make Events Public / Invite only? And is there any smart way to invite people form e.g. Facebook / Linkedin?

    7. How can we edit the confirmation E-mail and other sent by the Plugin? Both design and text?

    Thanks in advance!

    Regards,

    Hi there!

I’m happy to help out here. I’ll be responding inline to your questions below to make sure that I don’t miss anything. 🙂

    1. How can we get a Sidebar to show within all The Events / Community Events Pages?

Unfortunately, this kind of request would require some customization that we can’t provide on these forums. However, we do have some resources for guidance doing that here, and I think that you might find this plugin helpful for creating custom sidebars. I’ve used it before and found it very helpful. If you need to find someone to help with the customizations, we also have some tips for finding help here.

    2. Can we some how disable only Tags from the Create Event page? We only want to use Categories.

Unfortunately, this is also not a built in option of OUR plugin. However, the quick fix, which you can do with any custom post type within WordPress, is to disable the tags in the screen options. Basically, you’ll want to go to the “Events > Add New” screen and then use this article as a guide to hide the tag options. This will hide tags as an option for new events being added, but not for other post types. 🙂

    3. Can we somehow skip the “Event Submitted Page” and refer user back to standard “My Events Page”?

This is also not a built in option. I feel like a broken record, I know. 😉 However, in the spirit of being helpful, I think you’ll find this article here helpful. You can simply redirect the url for the Event Submitted Page back to the My Events Page. 🙂

    4. What Addon Plugins do we need to be able to attend and invite people to events?

I’m not sure I fully understand this question? If you’re looking for RSVP functionality, you simply need Event Tickets. If you need to sell tickets, you need Event Tickets Plus. 🙂

    5. No events are showing in the Map, they ar however visible if we choose “List View” What may be wrong?

First, can you confirm for me that you’ve troubleshooted your Google Maps settings according to this guide, and that you’ve configured the API according to this doc?

Let me know how this goes, and we’ll work on this from there.

    6. Is there any Addon/way to make Events Public / Invite only? And is there any smart way to invite people form e.g. Facebook / Linkedin?

Unfortunately we don’t have an plugin for these things, and I can’t think of another solution off the top of my head for these inquiries.

    7. How can we edit the confirmation E-mail and other sent by the Plugin? Both design and text?

At this time, aside from having a freelancer make some customizations to the plugin, the only solution we have for customizing the confirmation email is this free extension.

    Hope this helps!

    Best,

    Shelby 🙂

    Hi,

I’ll answer you in the same order as above.

    1. Your links did not help us.. there really should be an easy way to add an sidebar… it must me alot of people requesting this feature.

    2. This does not disable it from the Community Events “Add Event” Page..

    3. The link for the Submitted page is the same and does not add a slug to the link. If we 301 Redirect /hubs/hub/add to /my-hubs it’ll remove the function to add events.

    4. We are using Events Tickets but there are nothing on the events, please use login  and see this event e.g. http://femnesty.com/hub/home-work-balance-hub/

    5. Only one of all our events are visible, please see in our login above, if you choose list instead, all events are visible…

    6. Ok.

    7. We only need to edit the texts that are sent and also preferably the design, this PlugIn won’t help us…

    Hi again 🙂

    1. I’m sorry there’s not an easier way to add a sidebar at this time. If you’d like to suggest it as a feature, you can do so here in our feature suggestions forum.

    2. I’m sorry, I didn’t understand that you wanted to disable it specifically for adding community events. Thanks for clarifying! This would require some customization, for which I suggest you follow our themer’s guide or hire a freelancer. 🙂

    3. Unfortunately, I have to give the same advice for this one as above for number two. Your best options are to customize the development setup.

    4. We have a policy not to log into client sites for security reasons, so I’ve erased your credentials from your previous reply. I think that you might benefit from reviewing the new user primer for Event Tickets/Event Tickets Plus  to get a feel for how it’s all supposed to work. If you can verify that you’ve configured your plugin after reviewing this, and you can give me some more specific issues you’re having, I’d be happy to help. 🙂

    5. Please send me a link to your site so that I can take a look at this myself, and I’ll try to help you out. 🙂

    7. Unfortunately, right now, we don’t have a good solution for this, though it is a highly requested feature, and it’s on our future development schedule.

    Best,

    Shelby 🙂

    Hi,

    1. Ok, we’ll have to fix this through a Developer…

    2. Same as above…

    3. Same as above…

    4. There are an option to add tickets / RSVP if we create an event through the Backend WP-ADMIN but not for Community Events when user create events, this is really important… Se attached images.

    5. This has been sorted.

    7. Same as first three…
