ParticipantHey Emily,
I’m working on replicating this issue so I can help you out here. Did you happen to run any updates for your theme at all or install any new plugins?
Thanks,
Shelby

ParticipantHi Emily,
Sorry you’re having trouble with the Filter Bar, I’d be happy to help out with that!
The second link you sent: “im getting a shift in the layout when i do—you can see here,” seems to be linking to a password protected page. Could you send a private reply to this thread with the password to the page, or remove the password protection, so that I can look at this issue and be more helpful to you?
Thanks!
Shelby

ParticipantDaniel,
No problem, please feel free to reach out should you need help with anything else!
Thanks,

ParticipantHi Daniel,
Welcome to our forums, I’m happy to help out this evening!
We fixed this issue in our latest release. If you delete the current version of PRO (looks like you have 4.3 installed), and download the new one (4.3.1.1) from your account on theeventscalendar.com, and install that, the issue should resolve. 🙂
Let me know how this goes, & if you need anything else!
Thanks,
Shelby 🙂

ParticipantHey Glen,
Welcome back to our forums! I’d love to help you out with this.
Can you send me a link to the page with the functionality you reference here so I can take a closer look?
Cheers! 🙂

ParticipantHey Steve,
Here are our recommendations for getting help with making these kinds of changes (scroll down to where it says “Paid Resources.”)
Let me know if I can be of further assistance! 🙂
Thanks,
Shelby

ParticipantHi Richard,
I see now what you’re saying, and unfortunately that’s not how the plugin works. If you’d like to request this feature, you can do it here.
We’re always trying to improve our plugins for specific use cases however we can. Thanks for reaching out, and let me know if I can help with any follow ups to this question!

ParticipantHey Peter,
Thanks for getting me that info. It really helps, and it does not leave you vulnerable to security risks (we’d never ask you for that if it did!). 🙂
Please send over those screen captures as soon as you can, as that will help even more.
It is, however, worth noting in the meantime that Shopp tickets is retired, but you should have a download and license in your account for Event Tickets Plus, which took its place. You can read more about that here. That may not solve your issue, but we’re not able to provide the same level of support for a retired plugin as we are an active one.
Thanks,
Shelby

ParticipantHi Ben,
So, the distance filter is contingent upon the location search criteria entered, and will show events in date order based on the radius specified (ie events within 5 miles of zip code 12345 will be shown in date order). This is how it will work in all views.
The distance filter is enabled on the demo, you just have to put in location parameters before it will appear as an option.
I hope this better addresses your question. Let me know if you have any follow ups!
Thanks,
Shelby 🙂

ParticipantHey Henrik,
I’m not sure what you mean when you say “Google calendar fx” auto-importing from Google Calendar is supported. You can read more about the features on this page here.
To show on two different websites, ideally, you’d purchase two licenses of Events Calendar PRO and Events Aggregator and set up the calendar the same way on both sites as you said. Theoretically, you could iframe it, but that certainly wouldn’t be the most clean look or the best user experience, though that call is up to you. 🙂
Let me know if you have any further comments or questions on this issue!
Thanks,
Shelby 🙂

ParticipantI hope everything works out regardless Mat!
I see you marked this resolved, so I’m going to go ahead and close the ticket.
Please feel free to open a new thread if you have any more questions!

ParticipantHey Toby,
I see what you’re saying now. So the default for the plugin is to show the next event happening at any given location.
If you wanted to display more than that, you’d have to do some customizations, which is unfortunately beyond the scope of support.
If you’re not comfortable doing this yourself, my personal recommendation would be to find a developer that can help over at Codeable. Someone who’s familiar with the plugin could probably do that relatively quickly.
Hope this helps! Let me know how it works out.
Thanks,
Shelby 🙂

ParticipantHey Mat,
Thanks for reaching out, I’m happy to give you a hand with this!
I viewed your mockup, and I think what you’ve done with the calendar is very user friendly! (I love some good UI!) Unfortunately, that is not a built in feature of our plugin. Theoretically, with some modifications that could be done, it’s just a matter of whether you’re interested in doing that. If another calendar plugin has that feature built in, we may not be the best fit for you.
Let me know if there’s anything I can do to help further on this. 🙂
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Ben,
Yes, if you have Filter Bar + Events Calendar PRO, you can allow users to show the events list according to radius from their location. You can read more details on that in our Knowledgebase Article here. 🙂
Hope this helps!

ParticipantHi Henrick,
We actually have a plugin coming out VERY SOON called “Event Aggregator” that will allow you to auto-import events from multiple web-based sources on a recurring basis.
However, all of the events would land on the same calendar, though you could manage the separate calendars with various categories and tags as needed.
Please let me know if this answers your question or if you have any follow up questions on this.
Thanks!
Shelby 🙂
