Participanthay there—
in the process of migrating my client’s site to their server and running into an issue with the calendar updates, specifically the filter bar.
i have the calendar up and running on the clients server here and all looks as i intend, however none of the calendar updates have been made. i am testing the upgrade on my server, where i was developing the site, and im getting a shift in the layout when i do—you can see here, below the map.
the actual filter bar isnt showing up, but the bit of code i place below it to link to the community events add-on is, so i know somethings happening but im not sure what. any ideas on how to fix this layout issue associated with the upgrade?
thanks,

ParticipantHi Emily,
Sorry you’re having trouble with the Filter Bar, I’d be happy to help out with that!
The second link you sent: “im getting a shift in the layout when i do—you can see here,” seems to be linking to a password protected page. Could you send a private reply to this thread with the password to the page, or remove the password protection, so that I can look at this issue and be more helpful to you?
Thanks!
Shelby

Participanthi again–
so it appears that this issue has now appeared on the client’s live site, despite the fact that i still haven’t done the upgrades on any of the 4 TEC plugins i use on the site. the attached screenshot will show what the page is supposed to look like. i did see that there is a similar thread about the filter bar going horizontal and i imagine this is related? seems odd however since i havent updated this site.
please let me know how to correct this, i have disabled the filter bar plugin on the client’s site until this is resolved, though you can still see the issue on the dev site.
again, thanks,

ParticipantHey Emily,
I’m working on replicating this issue so I can help you out here. Did you happen to run any updates for your theme at all or install any new plugins?
Thanks,
Shelby

ParticipantHi Again,
So after looking into this, I see in our system that the bug has been reported and is being reviewed by our dev team. This should be addressed in a future maintenance release. 🙂
Stay tuned to our Release Notes and your WordPress admin dashboard for changelog info.
I greatly appreciate your patience, and unfortunately, I don’t have a workaround for you in the mean time. However, I’ll let you know if we are able to come up with a solution.
Best,
Shelby

Participanthi shelby—
do you have any indication of when this issue will be addressed? i had a similar issue with community events and it took 3-4 weeks to be resolved. this website is scheduled to launch early next week and needless to say, im not looking forward to another conversation about a glitch with the plugin where we have to wait a month for resolution.
any insight is appreciated,

ParticipantHey Emily,
I apologize for my silence on this! I thought I had responded, but I must not have hit the submit button, and then I went on vacation. I’m so so sorry if you feel neglected in this!
I checked into the status of this fix, and it seems it is pending code review (which means it will be released shortly). However, I have a temporary CSS fix for you, below:
.tribe-events-filters-vertical {
float: left;
width: 25%;
}Let me know if you need help implementing, and again my apologies!
Best,
Shelby

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
